The evening meal we had was exceptionally good and great value for money also. Stunning views no matter where in the building you are. The relaxation suite was just gorgeous! Between the facilities and the views it was impossible not to melt in to total relaxation! We will definitely return!

You have to see it to appreciate it!
You have to see it to appreciate it! I can describe it in my words but I would not do it justice. It is simply beautiful! Waterfalls, mountains, beaches, so many places to walk and cycle. Lots of nice places to eat and drink. The weather does not matter at all - summer/winter - it is still beautiful. Just go there and see for yourself.

Ideal location, pubs and shops.
Ideal location, pubs and shops. Gift shop expensive in both Leenane and Clifden. Ideally located for a short cruise on Killary bay, too short , could have gone further out in the bay. Conveniently located for Clifden and Connemara National park, and Kylemore Abbey and excellent Gardens. We travelled via Westport and Louise burg and via Delphi onto Leenane, very scenic.
The Leenane Hotel is ideal for staying and the food is excellent. Ample free parking.
We've stayed previously and will again, hard to find fault with the area or the hotel.

Really exquisite place.
Really exquisite place. The hotel is in a small and beautiful town and the view is amazing, If you want a break from city monotony this is THE place. Even the road to Leenaun is beautiful (Wild Atlantic).

Wonderful Hotel with stunning views.
Wonderful Hotel with stunning views. Ideal for hikers & as it's dog friendly you can even bring your pet! Great Food, Friendly staff & will return again & again. Highly recommended a Deep Tissue Massage by Bart!!
The main interest is the location of the Convent: absolutely stunning setting, at the heart of Connemara’s wild nature.
The room: clean, tidy, simple and comfortable.
The guesthouse: Sean is a great host - very careful his guests have all they need, and very nice. The hotel is a former convent, with a beautiful dining room (great breakfast!) that used to be the chapel.
Three/Four little restaurants nearby and two grocery shops.
Bus station nearby. Very accessible.
Had a really lovely few days in Connemara
I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone
When we arrived the place was lovely and cosy
The owner had the heating on for us and even left a basket of log's for the stove..
The cottage was spotless
It was like home away from home
Leenaun is only a five minute drive away and Westport and clifden 30 minutes drive
So all and all a great experience
Will definitely be back again
Hopefully stay longer next Time
We were astounded by this Hotel which is literally in the middle of nowhere, lovely view of the mountains and lake.
The room was great, it's an old hotel so the older type of furniture was in keeping. I asked for a separate shower, not one over the bath, and got that.
The breakfast was first class as were the dinners that we had there.
Lovely bar area and lounge.
It is certainly a hotel we will visit again in the near future.
The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Connemara - it has lots of character. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable - the view in the morning of the fjord and the mountain behind will stay with us forever. Breakfast and dinner were delicious - the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely hostess! We were mesmerized by the gorgeous mountain views. It's a quick 10 min into Leenaun, which is a quaint seaside town with friendly people and essentials. The breakfast was very good. Room and beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was excellent. We loved everything about our stay.
A beautiful setting in the west of Ireland. The hotel was nice, generally clean and the staff friendly and helpful. A bit of a kooky set up but we had an overall enjoyable stay.
The restaurant served up some great dishes so dinner on one of the nights we stayed was really enjoyable.
The lodge is located by the Killary fjord (one of 3 fjords in Ireland). It was very beatiful!
Room was very nice and clean, the breakfast was good (and not expensive) and the owner was very kind.
It is very near the Connemara national park and Kylemore abbey.
Great place to stay in Connemara. The location was perfect. Views stunning. A couple minutes walk to bars and restaurants. Very central for all places to visit.
The owners of the property were so helpful and friendly which made our stay even better.
Breakfast was excellent and offered lots of choices. Food was delicious. The hotel location is in such a beautiful area surrounded by mountains and water. Beautiful to look out and see the scenery when enjoying dinner and a glass of wine.
The hostel is in a great location for exploring Connemara. Simple, yet comfortable accommodation with beautiful surroundings. We didn’t stay long enough to take advantage of the activities offered by the resort, but there were lots on offer.
Nice view of the water from my room. The breakfast starts at 8am which was too late for my planned hike. The hotel made porridge, toast, coffee, etc available from 7am to suit our early start which was very nice of them.
Such a nice guesthouse and in a great location to walk about Leenaun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and well appointed. Nice beds and large closet. Free parking and great wifi!!
The staff was really friendly. Flexible check-in and out hours. Great location. Affordable. It's a simple place, perfect for people wanting to sleep and wake up to go explore Connemara.
Excellent hidden treasure in Connemara Ireland. Authentic lodge at the lake. Very pleasant to stay with friendly staff. Great hospitality, very good cuisine. I like to come back.
Dinner menu was typical not very good hotel food, but we discovered the Bar menu which was much better. They were also promoting a 'vegan' wine collection which was delicious.
