The relative affordability attracted me to the place. Accommodation costs in Ireland are horrendous on the ZAR. I was very grateful for the provision of a no stairs room.
Lovely quiet b&b outside of Killarney. A short distance (10 mins) to drive in to town.
Host Eileen was very friendly and accommodating to any needs. Large assortment of breakfast choices available, including various teas and coffees. You will not go hungry.
Room was clean, modern and had everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable large bed. Great views either end of the room looking out to mountains. Off road parking.
Some great restaurants in Killarney; INEC just outside of town; traditional live music in lots of venues; high street shopping.
Plenty to see and do around the area if you have time.
Would definitely book to stay at The Glen Farmhouse should I ever visit Ireland again.

One can drive anywhere and never be overjoyed by what the countryside has to offer and the people...well just soooo friendly. It was a wonderful start to my Ireland trip. For those on their way...enjoy and WOW will become the adjective used a lot! Cheers!
