I had an amazing stay. Even though I arrived hours before I was supposed to, and had to leave at the crack of dawn Deirdre was so helpful and accommodating- I wish I could have stayed longer.
The property is exceptionally maintained, and I think that might have been the most comfortable bed I slept on all trip.

We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet.
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet. This is well worth a visit. The food was great! I really enjoyed the Mead welcome drinks too! The staff who were serving our food were also the entertainment. The singing was absolutely fantastic! I sing in a Welsh choir, I was seriously impressed! They instrumentalists were also exceptional. The host was also very funny, so it was a great night!
The castle is a fantastic attraction to visit and spend time with family and learn all about the medieval past.
After the banquet we went into the village and visited the local pubs. What an exceptional warm welcome we received. Both pubs had musicians playing and singing! What a place to visit for a bit of authentic Irish entertainment.

Bunratty provided a close location to Shannon Airport necessary after an overnight flight. We dined at JP Clarks which is lovely and delicious. Dirty Nelly's was adorable, but we couldn't get service. Bunratty Folk Park is well worth a visit. The breakfast served at Bunratty Mews B & B was plentiful and delicious which we could enjoy and be on our way.

Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms.
Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms. If you have trouble walking on narrow steep surfaces you would not have access to most of the castle, however the rest of the park is very interesting and accessible.

This is a perfect way to start an Irish vacation.
This is a perfect way to start an Irish vacation. It is a short drive from the Shannon airport and the Bunratty Castle/folk museum is a great way to shake off jet lag. There is shopping and restaurants in town that are very good options.
As you approach the building, it seems like a great estate house....tall ceilings, large rooms, opulent furnishings. Our room was quite large, with a large bed, and sofas by the window. There is a game room with billiard table and bar area which is quite nice for a B&B, and a baby grand piano (that could really use a tuning). Breakfast is served in a delightful dining room with traditional english breakfast offered. There's a couple of pubs nearby in Bunratty, right by the castle that were quite fun.
My wife and I were on a 2 week vacation all across Ireland, we stayed in a couple of different hotels and an Air bnb, the bunratty meadows was by far the most comfortable, cozy farmland feeling ever. The hosts were awsome that provided a beautiful breakfast in the mornings. Having coffee in the morning watching the sun rise in the pasture with the cows grazing was very relaxing. When we come back for our next visit to Ireland we will Deffinetly be staying at this location again. It was sadly missed
An attractive property with everything we needed for a family holiday. Plenty of space and more bathrooms than we were expecting! Picking up the key was easy and the caretaker was always available and ready to help. A nice little garden and plenty of parking space directly in front of the house. Easy walking distance to Bunratty Castle and various nice bars and restaurants. The only disappointment was the lack of walking opportunities directly from the house but no problem if you have a car.
The whole atmosphere was welcoming from the friendly reception, to my lovely room, to the beautiful dining room and bar. There was a hiccup with my friends room, we had requested a twin room on Booking.com, the hotel was quickly able to reshuffle the rooms and accommodate them - it was my friends 50th she was delighted with the upgrade. Located on the 'main' road in Bunratty it was an easy walk to the Castle & Folk Park and other amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
It was the perfect place for the night as we were leaving from Shannon the next day to come home. We also booked our dinner at the medievel castle in Bunratty that evening and it was real close. Both Diedre and her husband were very accommodating. It was quiet and as we were wrapping up our stay in Ireland, we were pretty tired. We had no idea they had a full house of quests (with kids) until breakfast the next morning.
Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. Everything had been prepared with good taste - quality bed linen, furnishings, decoration. Catherine was very helpful, informative and pleasant. The location - surrounded by countryside but within easy reach of Shannon Airport and motorway - was ideal. I was so pleasantly surprised by this accommodation - so much more than a hotel room!
The location was right down the road from Bunratty Castle. PJ Clark's restaurant was recommended and it was delicious food and great atmosphere. We had an early flight and takeaway breakfasts were all packed up for us when we left. Great hosts we would definitely come again. We had a double and a family room with a double and twin bed.
Bed rooms were spotless with lots of attention to detail in room and amenities. House décor was beautiful. Breakfast was amazing huge variety to suit everyone, a great selection. Owners were so kind helpful and great sense of humour. I would highly recommend and will return again. Also only walking distance to Bunratty castle.
The hosts were extremely welcoming and colorful and took time to share a bit of local history with about their homey establishment. The breakfast included homemade baked goods set in a a lovely common dining room. We were able to park on-site and walk about 8 minutes to one of two restaurants/pubs next to Bunratty castle.
I loved loved loved my stay in Bunratty Castle Hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, could not do enough for us. Facilities were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious 😋. Room and decor was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would visit it again!
Wonderful guesthouse in great location with friendly staff. I would be happy to stay again. Delicious breakfast. Close to Bunratty Castle and conveniently situated near good restaurants and bars. This guesthouse also works well for people using Shannon Airport.
The owner Joe was excellent and the food was great and room was very clean. The B&B is a short walk to the castle and The Durty Nelly pub. The Pub right next door JP Clarke's has excellent food. I highly recommend this B&B if you stay in Bunratty.
Caroline was wonderful and met us at #14 with the keys to give us the property overview. Property location is ideal and we were able to walk to restaurants and Bunratty Castle. Property is well maintained and very comfortable.
The property was very well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable. It was with walking distance of all of the pubs and restaurants in Bunratty with a garage and shop across the road. Caroline, the site manager was lovely!
Location was fantastic, staff was SO kind and responsive, adorable room, great breakfast…just a great stay! AMAZING value for a location so close to so much! Walked to and from Bunratty Castle, Durty Nellys and great shopping.
The house and grounds are exceptional. Just 3/4 mile from bunratty castle and folk park, we were able to tour everything, have dinner at Durty Nelly’s, and even attend the medieval banquet without using our car.
Great out of the way B&B. Superb location for those visiting Bunratty Castle or the Bunratty Medieval banquet. :)
Great friendly owners and the breakfast is sensational. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Lovely room with en suite, within walking distance of the village and its 4 pubs/restaurants and the fantastic Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Great breakfast in our room each day also.
Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us a choice of rooms to take that was both comfortable and extremely clean.
The even took us down to Bunratty Castle for the evening show.
