Eileen has been a very friendly and helpful host. The house is beautiful and the interior is lovely. It's a 40 minute drive to Malin Head. There are a few parking spots available. There was no breakfast, but I was aware of this and there's a great place to get breakfast in Muff: Tank and Skinnys, which offers a really great irish breakfast.

regret to say that shortly after we arrived we had to leave the house, as after being there for 30 minutes or so we discovered the house was not to the standard of cleanliness that it should have been, and we had to set off to a hotel 80 minutes away. The sheets in the beds all had hairs, what looked to be both long hair from a person along with short black hairs, perhaps from a cat or dog, and when we went to find a spare sheet to simply change it the one in the press seemed to have a yellow stain on it, presumably from a previous bed wetting, so we left it. The black duvet on the top bunk has white stains on it as if it hadn’t been washed. The left pillow on the front bedroom has what looks like faded red stains on the corner of the pillow, along with dust and cobwebs directly behind the pillows on the bed frame, and higher around the top of the bed surround. The bathroom has dried water marks on the walls at the bath and over the sink, again as if it hadn’t been cleaned down after last use. There appears to be hairs randomly throughout the house, including one, strangely, hanging from the little trumpet under the light fitting in the games room. The curtains on the sitting room doorway have stains all along the bottom of them. Many of the rugs had again hairs and bits of debris as if they hadn’t been hoovered over before our visit. The smoke alarm on the kitchen wall was hanging off, and as a firefighter myself that just isn’t acceptable for a rental property. The fire pit outside was still full of ashes and an aluminium tray from previous use, and both the deck chairs were covered in dirt and in disrepair. The property overall was not as advertised, and was definitely not in the state of cleanliness one would expect given the price for one night at almost €200, and as our daughter has an allergy to some types of animal hair we comply could not have her sleep in a bed with hair. These items are not something we could see all fixed on the day and we were forced to

I loved location of the house, and wievs around it were amazing.

Rosies cottage was so warm and welcoming, was like a home away from home. The house was immaculate. Rosie had the heating on for us arriving and had left us some essentials like bread, milk and even fresh fruit. Hassle free booking and excellent communication.

The cabin was a great size and very comfortable for our overnight stay. Easily found. Good communication with hosts, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side but it was lovely hearing the rain on the roof! Would be a nice some evening sitting outside in the sun, few drinks and the hottub. Might just have to come back! We visited Shroove beach for a dip, Rosatos restaurant for dinner and Malin Head. A great wee project, well done guys!
