Comfortable, clean and quiet. Close enough to the bus stop and town to walk, but still nicely in the country.

A Hidden Gem Along the Irish Coast
Kilkee is a hidden gem along the Irish coast that never fails to surprise and enchant.
During our visit to Kilkee, we were captivated by its breathtaking natural beauty. The majestic cliffs, golden beaches, and crystal-clear blue sea create a postcard-perfect setting that is hard to forget.
But Kilkee is much more than just a picturesque landscape. It is a welcoming and vibrant community, rich in history, culture, and local charm. We spent hours exploring the quaint streets of the town center, stopping to enjoy delicious meals in its cozy cafes and restaurants.
Furthermore, outdoor activities abound in Kilkee. We had the opportunity to hike along the stunning coastal trails, explore sea caves, and even take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the bay.
But what truly sets Kilkee apart is the relaxed and authentic atmosphere that permeates every corner of the town. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply tranquility, Kilkee offers something for everyone.
In conclusion, we highly recommend Kilkee to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway along the Irish coast. With its breathtaking landscape, rich culture, and warm hospitality, Kilkee is a place that will stay in the hearts of anyone fortunate enough to visit.

Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs safely and easily for a 1.5 mile walk each direction right from town. Town looks a bit in disrepair at times. Our accommodation was great with wonderful service including the restaurant below it. Parking was easy.

The beach is gorgeous, as are the cliff walks and views.
The beach is gorgeous, as are the cliff walks and views. Restaurants were fine.
Unfortunately we couldn't find any postcards, couldn't rent any bicycles (nearest bike hire was miles away), and the 'tourist office ' was not only shut down but in a very sad state of disrepair.
Also, no one seemed to know where Charlotte Bronte honeymooned!! We found it easily though (there's a plaque).

Beautiful cafes, pubs and dinning establishments on the street to taste, Kilkee is simply beautiful, easy to get around, signage excellent, clean and welcoming, people are warm and friendly, lovely community
Lovely bed & breakfast in a quiet location in the countryside on top of a hill as the name implies. Very friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell that the owners take pride in the house.
We had two rooms and one of them had a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and ocean. Rooms were small but very nice. Good shower.
Best Irish breakfast we have had on our Ireland trip so far! Cereal and other options were available as well. Tea and instant coffee available all day. Highly recommended!
This place is in a very quiet and picturesque part of Ireland, with lots of local history. Our host Teresa was very capable and helpful, she had good local knowledge suggesting places to see and helped us find a friendly local bar, (Foley's).
There was plenty of parking and our room was ground floor, very clean and comfortable.
We had a large, spotless, private bathroom, a choice of bath, or walk in shower and plenty of towels.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with as much tea or coffee as we wanted.
There was no breakfast. We paid an outrageous price of €600 for 2 nights for 2 rooms on a room only basis. It was worth no more than €80 per night given the basic level of accommodation offered and no breakfast facilities whatsoever. Hotel is old and musty, shower was very weak and we had to be moved to another room when we arrived because the bed was so small. Location is good but not enough to ever warrant another stay here. Grossly inflated prices for sub zero quality. Never again

Hosts were extremely helpful. Helen even lent us some rain gear and arranged for Joe McCab to take us to Loophead Lighthouse. Breakfast was delightful, Helen cooks a delicious omelette!!! B&B is directly across the street from the bus stop in Kilkee. Location was perfect, just up from the beautiful beach and Cliff Walk. I would absolutely stay there again!!!

Location was perfect, 2 minutes to beach and great location to tour west Clare, Loop head, Doonbeg, Kilrush and more.
Property was very spacious, very comfortable furnishings and cooking facilities were excellent. Cleanliness was excellent and management were very helpful with any requests.
The friendly welcome. The very comfortable room and great shower. The quiet and peaceful location within walking distance of the beach and the town. The copious and tasty breakfast. The access to Kilrush, Kilkee and the spectacular Loop Head.
Lovely hotel. 5 minutes walk to town and beach. Breakfast was very good and they cater for ceoliacs no problem. Lady on reception (sorry cant remember your name) was so friendly and helpful. Very comfy beds and rooms very well cleaned.
Perfect for a stay. Beautiful little village. Room was excellent
It had everything we needed. Accommodation was quite. Bed was super comfortable. I will go back hear again. Plenty of places to eat
Highly recommended staying hear.
Location excellent. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The Pier restaurant was very enjoyable, food was excellent. Overall Kilkee is a fabulous little town to visit. Hotel is near the beach front and lovely promenade to walk.
The most amazing I ever met in any hotel.. We luckily got a ground floor room as I had my 95 year old mother with me .. That was thanks to the lovely receptionist..
The location was wonderful.
The accommodation was very cosy and charming.
Parking was very accessible.
The property felt very safe and was very peaceful.
We were in Kilkee for a Half Marathon. Location of the property was ideal as in centre of town, hosts facilitated an early breakfast which was very welcome!
