Just used it as a base, plus it was a bank holiday and shops were all closed. So left in the morning and didn’t come back until evening. But it was a busy town traffic wise. 3.30 in the morning and traffic was still driving down the Main Street. Could see it but noise wise we couldn’t hear it.

I want to the hotel for a small one nite break but now think it was too short, 2 or more nites wud be more beneficial, the hotel staff were very helpful, the food in the restaurant was 1st class as cud not fault it, the facilities where brilliant as the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi was a bliss just relaxing and no cares, next time 2 or more days as can be used as a base and travel around, 5/5 for me 👍

Letterkenny is a sprawl and would avoid other than to go to a couple the restaurants.
But it’s easily bypassed and there are wonderful scenic drives awaiting. Fanad peninsula - Malin Head for example.

There was a lot more to do in the town than I had initially thought. Good retail shops in the retail park and in the town centre. Cathedral is worth a visit. It is a good centre to stay at for exploring mid to northwest Donegal county. Marble Hill strand, Bloody Foreland and Downings are not too far by car. Camille Thai restaurant was very good value - just on edge of the Retail park past Aldi.

Had a great two days in Letterkenny plenty of shops and a good variety of shops to spend your money. Great places to eat and drink may I say but my only complaint is that you can't get anything to eat before 13.30 on a Sunday .

❗️DO NOT BOOK TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY❗️
Arrived at the accommodation- door locked and no access from the back. Rang the owner multiple times to which he didn’t answer. We then had to book a hotel costing us a further €200. Another couple arrived and also couldn’t get in or get in contact with the owner. We were left standing on the side of the street with all of our luggage.
This man is a fraud and scammer and I will be taking this further In order to get our money back!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The staff were excellent. All very friendly and efficient. Orla was on reception when we arrived and she was excellent. She went above and beyond our expectations making us feel welcome and really made our stay an exceptionally pleasant one. Food was very good quality and reasonable price. Beds were really comfy and the whole hotel was spotless. Located a short drive outside of Letterkenny, but hotel has everything you wold need for short stay. Would highly recommend this venue.
What a fantastic, unique place to stay! The cottage we had is 200 years old with the kind of quirks you would expect. It was cozy, had all we needed and staying at a working lighthouse was a wonderful experience. The views around the lighthouse were fabulous when it was clear, and the cottage was a cozy retreat when it wasn’t. We just loved it!
An old fashioned country home that now serves as a hotel. The rooms were all different and the furniture seemed to be authenticly vintage. Our bathroom seemed to be a modern addition and was well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous and well worth including in a visit. Everything was made to order and was delicious.
I wasnt expecting muchits been nearly 2 years since i stayed here but due to work i had to stay an extra night and the hotel i was staying at for 2 nights couldnt facilitate me as they where booked out (sat night which is fine)so this was only hotel availble in letterkenny location and bar are good food ok
Hotel is clean, comfortable and spacious
Staff are professional and lovely to deal with
I have stayed here before and the room quality and general 'look' gives a great impression of a hotel that knows that they are not the cheapest but you get what you are paying for
A beautiful, luxurious hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious. One of the best breakfasts we have had at a hotel. The waitress at breakfast was exceptional. If you are visiting Donegal, this is definitely the place to stay!
If you're new to letterkenny don't be shy to ask the landlord for a ride to the apartment. Fun and informative landlord, easy to reach city center, kitchen, shower and room accommodations all included. Stay like a 4 ⭐ hotel.
Hotel was amazing, staff were so friendly and always going above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, the food in the restaurant was amazing everything cooked to perfection would highly recommend this hotel.
Wonderful apartment with incredible views, super clean and well equipped. I have stayed in a lot of holidays homes in Ireland and this has been up there with the best!
Mayhem very poor organisation and chaos had to queue for ages and was self service not like Clanree hotel everything presented and organised and very clean.
