Amazing location, just few minutes from Harbour. We stayed just for one night, but I would definitely go back and spend more days. Beautiful nature, dears around,so quiet and relaxing paradise. The Hut was clean and bed wanderfull,we slept like babies. The owner was amazing, really pleasant place. I definitely recommend for holiday.

The breakfast was very good, bit a holiday highlight in fact, good variety of foodstuffs, ordering speciality eggs, florentine and salmon for me, and the buffet full Irish alongside.
I was pleased with the leisure facilities; the gym, the only one in Killaloe, is not super polished but is better than average for a hotel for weightlifting equipment, free weights, bars benches and exercise space - enough to keep the local gym goers happy who were the primary users of it. Also decent running machines, a bike or two, and a couple of Concept 2 rowing machines for the cardio folks. The sauna and steam room were great - fortunately they were recently back working again after being out of action for some weeks or months apparently. The pool slide was fun, surprisingly quick. As a swimmer I had no pool safety concerns; I was curious about the deep end depth when chatting to a local in the steam room before using it - 1.5m was clearly signed as expected so the tragic incident a few days later probably wasn't related to that.

We stayed with Bernie to assist to my friend's wedding at Ashley Park Hotel which is only 14 mins away by car. Bernie goes above and beyond making you feel so welcomed. She ensures that you are equiped with all what is needed in your stay; fresh bread, milk, teas & coffess, cereals, I mean everything. We are so glad we stayed at Bernie's, herself and her partner are so nice and kind.

Lovely scenic area. The local people are warm and friendly. Lots to see and do, I would recommend Scarriff and the surrounding area. There is a lovely car boot sale in Tuamgreaney on a Sunday beside the church -worth a look.

Scarriff is a lovely little town, but it has everything you would need-stores, restaurants, pubs, pharmacy, doctors. Beautiful scenery all around and all the people we've met are fantastic and super friendly. Great fishing in the river and plenty to do if you like sightseeing.
Clean, well kept and equipped, plenty of room, had everything we needed for a wonderful week’s holiday. Close to shops and restaurants in Scarriff and Tuamgraney. We loved having the fire and made use of it while there as it got a bit cool in the evenings. We used it as a base and as it’s not too far from Ennis it was easy then to get around Clare and visit all the beaches and major attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher. Geraldine was lovely and very helpful and kind to us throughout our stay. Would absolutely recommend!
Geraldine was there to meet us with the key and gave us great recommendations for dinner. She was very friendly and helpful with other queries we had. The house is wonderfully spacious and clean (I actually commented to a friend on how fresh and clean the towels and bed linen smelt!). The house is in a great location in the town of Scarriff and yet extremely peaceful - the best of both worlds.
Derghaven is a home away from home.
The lady of the house served us: homemade apple pie, homemade brown bread and I just don't know how she made the croissants, but they were absolutely divine!
The lady of the house was very knowledgeable and gave us great hints to utilise our 2 days in Scarriff.
Scarriff is an excellent location from which to explore the Mid West of Ireland with many sites of interest and attractions within an hours drive or less. The Riverbank Cottages themselves are excellent and the host Geraldine is a lovely lady and very easy to deal with.
I will never forget my experience in this B&B. Everything was great, amazing host, really helpful and chatty, tasty breakfast, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Thank you so much Marie for making my last night in Ireland feeling like I was at home.
