Our stay was very pleasant, it's a cozy house with an amazing garden. Our host was very attentive and caring, she prepared a beautiful breakfast for us. Once we are in the area - we would love to come back!

I liked the whole Hotel. The location is great and even though I did not have a water view I did get to walk around outside and see the views. Stayed there before and hopefully will be able to visit and stay there again
We came from Fermoy co. Cork to attend the dingle food festival.
While we were a consideration distance from dingle the drive to dingle from Kells was lovely and the accommodation and staff at the accommodation were very accommodating.

This is a lovely peaceful spot and the gardens are really special. It’s a little out of the way so you definitely need a car. Everything about the accommodation was top quality. Would definitely recommend the Thai food. There were lots of options for breakfast and portions were generous.

A wonderful location.
A wonderful location. We stayed in the 'garden room' which was amazing. We arrived during a heat wave and I'm presuming it's because it was an old house, but it was our first night sleeping in a cool room. If u arrive during colder weather there is a stove in the room which I presume can be lit. We had dinner and breakfast in the adjacent restaurant and I would rate it as 10 out 10.

A beautiful little quiet nook on the western end of the Ring of Kerry. I would love to see the village have a little coffee place or bar/lounge for people to enjoy the lovely setting and views from there.

Kells was only a stop over on our way to Dingle so my expectations were not up to much. However, I absolutely loved Kells, the scenery when driving towards the bay was fantastic. The bay was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Wish I had time to stay in Kells for a few days, will definitely return. The local pub did good food and live music. Another town worth staying in would be 'Adair,' full of charming thatched cottages ( on route to Dingle).

Could not have been happier with this absolute gem in Kerry, The staff and owners were so nice and very helpful. The grounds were very well maintained with an element of pure peace, counting down the days on my return!
Victoria was a charming hostess. When we arrived, we had not eaten, and she suggested a delicious Thai restaurant just a few minutes walk from her house. The flora on her property, and throughout the neighborhood, is stunning. We even saw a waterfall on our short stroll. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning, Victoria served a lovely continental breakfast that included a treat from her pastry-chef sister. We then had a short 30-minute drive to catch our boat to Skellig Michael.
Victoria is a great host. She has so many tips to give on how to get the most out of your stay, plus she bakes delicious cakes! When you arrive, you should take out a pen and paper to note down her advice and recommendations - she'll give you so many. Plus she's a master gardener.Victoria's house was a great base for us to explore the beauty of Kerry. Having Kells Bay beach/harbour just down the road is excellent for a swim. The microclimate is a wonder for anyone interested in flowers and plants.
This is a fun, out-of-the way place to stay. I wanted to visit the gardens, so staying here was a no-brainer. It was also a great way to break up the Ring of Kerry Drive--I left from Kenmare in the morning and drove the ring clockwise, visiting sites and hillwalking along the way. It was nice to be able to spend a long day "doing the Ring" and be able to spend the night at Kells Bay, rather than going back to Killarney/Kenmare. The gardens are glorious and the rope bridge is fun to walk across.
Great house, perfect for 2 large families.
Good size garden for kids to play in. Bbq on terrace overlooking bay was fabulous and we got the weather to enjoy it.
Kells bay beach is a great, safe, sandy beach which is excellent to swim on and only 5 mins walk.
Good location to explore Valentia, Skelligs and lots more without spending too much time in the car.
Would happily go back and would recommend the house and area.
Very good continental breakfast, with an added treat of freshly baked apple crumble!
Excellent location. Walking distance to beach and Kells Bay House and Gardens.
Half hour drive to ferry for Valencia Island, perfect!
House surrounded by beautiful garden/nursery, with spectacular mountain scenery.
Excellent advice and recommendations from Victoria about places to see and where to eat.
The location was absolutely incredible. We took a walk down to the beach through what I can best describe as a rainforest -- I didn't know Ireland terrain could look like that. Gorgeous waterfall along the way, sweet little beach area with a concession stand and ice cream.....totally wonderful. Victoria's House was a garden itself, and Victoria was a lovely attentive hostess.
Host was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the local area.
Lovely setting (beautiful garden and flowers/plants) and good location for exploring the Ring of Kerry by car. Kells Bay beach only a short walk away and mountain/hill walks close by too.
Clean room.
Pleasant breakfast including really tasty home made goods each morning.
Great location. Lovely large room that was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. The Thai food in the restaurant was very tasty and a nice change from the normal offerings at other hotels.
The gardens are the star feature of this hotel and worth the trip on their own.
The gardens were extraordinary. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner at the Thai restaurant delicious as well. Guests should realize there is no other place to eat within walking distance. (well, at least not in April). Our room was perfect. Quiet and peaceful.
Staff were very nice and accommodating of requests. The restaurant was good. Property as a whole was gorgeous with a Victorian/old world vibe. Lovely sitting room where you could get drinks in the evening. Free entrance to the gardens for hotel guests.
Brilliant location on the coast road, just a short drive to lovely beach in Kells - room had a sea view. Bar very handy and lucky enough to be there when local kids rehearse traditional Irish music. Jack was very friendly and helpful.
Kells Bay House is absolutely gorgeous - a tropical resort in the middle of the Ring of Kerry! The actual resort is unbelievably beautiful and has a lovely sea view The Dingle Bay Suite was spacious and extremely comfortable!
I was Travelling by motorcycle. Parking was in the open but safe. I arrived late in the evening and checked in at the Bar, Staff were friendly. Breakfast was Buffet style and Continental. The view from the Hotel is beautiful.
We had a very welcoming greeting from Victoria and she was more than happy to give us advise on what to do around Kells. Covid friendly, comfortable and a lovely breakfast had.
Kells Bay House and Gardens is a exceptional place, set in a stunning location, with a beautiful view and stunning gardens.
The food: BEAUTIFUL. MOUTH-WATERING.
