The staff were very friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. It is a fantastic child friendly hotel, spotlessly clean, exceptional food and service.
Ideally situated on the West Clare coastline, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Spanish Point Golf Club, this luxury 3-star hotel is situated just around the corner from the sandy beach.

It was a staging post for us but is a very pleasant area. The West coast is so beautiful and this area is no different. I would say perhaps more family friendly as beach was big and sea easy to swim in

We went for a sea view suite which was a little extra but worth it. The room was fantastic with a bath in the middle of the room and a fabulous view out to sea. A four poster bed and a small living area with a electric fire. Along with this the room had a separate bath and shower room, a separate WC and a small walk in wardrobe. The hotel itself was lovely and the food was great. I would stay here again anytime and would still pay the little extra for such a lovely room.

This is a special corner of the world.
This is a special corner of the world. The scenery is breathtaking, the beach walks are invigorating and the locals are friendly and helpful. There are a few lovely places to eat, I recommend the Coast Hotel, its pizza is delicious! Also the Armada Hotel is fab!! The eateries there are both delicious, and the quality of food served is second to none. We adore Spanish Point and are always delighted to arrive and sad to leave.
From the moment we arrived everything was amazing.. The Lahiff family made us feel so welcome... The guest house is beautiful and the sea views from the bedroom was breathtaking... breakfast was delicious and the service was better than any 4 star hotel... we will be back and anyone thinking of going to Spanish Point stay at the bay view guesthouse you will love every minute...... it's a 10 out of 10 from Antoinette and Mark xx
Great hotel with a nice restaurant, very friendly and professional staff. Lots of space for breakfast which was well stocked with plenty of choices. Room was spotless. Plenty of parking. Nice patio to enjoy the sunset. Well situated between Doonbeg and Lahinch (15 mins to each) for those interested in golf. Good value and would recommend for a stay in the Spanish Point area.
Stayed here when attending at family wedding at the Armada, couldn't have been in a better location. Stayed with my husband and parents - very convenient for walking to the hotel and great space for us all getting ready. Lovely, clean, comfortable house and staff were available by text at all times - no complaints!
Checked in to a lovely clean 1 bed in the back of the lodge. Really nice spot. Comfy bed with ensuite. Great location right beside the beach. Parked right outside the house. Ideal spot for having a look around Spanish Point. Lovely breakfast too..set us up for the day.
The hotel is set on the shores of the Atlantic at Spanish Point, with views of the beach and south Clare. The room was spacious, bright and clean. The breakfast dining room feels like you are dining on the beach. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional.
Amazing night at Armada House. Facility and staff were both wonderful. We departed the hotel or house and the house was so cute. A quaint comfortable night with exceptional staff and beautiful views. Location was the perfect stop between the cliffs and cork!
