How to start - having spent 15 years in the hotel business, we have stayed in hotels from five to no stars. Quinlan and Cooke stands out above everything I've ever spend time in. A boutique hotel, run by a delightful Irish woman who know how to take care of customers without fuss or muss. Every room is outfitted exactly as you would outfit your own home/bathroom. Excellent amenities, great breakfast delivered directly to your room every morning, fresh fruit, croissants, juice, everything you could desire right at your fingertips. Hotel personnel go out of their way to insure a quiet and comfortable stay. Can't do better than Quinlan and Cooke. And the attached restaurant is outstanding - great menu - best fish and chips in Ireland with an absolutely best trained staff. If you are looking for an outstanding visit to a small town on the Ring Of Kerry, this is it. Kate and her crew are some of the best I've ever seen in all our travels throughout the world. This isn't a corporate hotel experience - this is genuine local boutique hotel run by a professional with exquiste taste and attention to detail. I wish her continued success. One of the best!

Michael who checked me in was very helpful booking me a taxi, printing up some information for me and getting papers to dry my shoes. He was an excellent person to get me checked in.

Lovely friendly town with a few pubs ( although less than was open on our last trip). Music in some of the pubs and one which was full of locals and pleasant to sit and chat in. Some interesting little shops and near Valentia Island which is a very interesting place to spend a day.

What a great little town.
What a great little town. What’s even better is that you can just head to the Ring of Skellig, which is breathtaking. So glad it was a cloudy day because we got the fog nestling into the hills. The contrast of the landscape in terms of colors was amazing. I would have done another loop just to see it all again! We will be back.

Was not very impressed really the room was a bit tired and lacked any nice touches it just had enough to get you by, very basic.
The host Christine was ok but seemed a bit miserable to be honest which is not very good when you are running a b&b this left me and my partner feeling like she wanted you gone as soon as possible.
Would choose another place to stay next time.

Quaint town plenty of tourist attractions, very friendly locals and three beautiful sunny days unfortunately day four was a typically Irish day referred to locally as "damp".As stated earlier could not visit the local hostilities due to the prohibition that has been inflicted upon us, but all for a very good reason that we will still be around next year to enjoy The Ring Of Kerry Hotel and beautiful County Kerry.

Cahersiveen is such a great base for a few days.
Cahersiveen is such a great base for a few days. You'll need time to go to Valentia Island and fully explore (which is well worth it), and go to the Kerry Cliffs (which we thought were better than Moher). We had an amazing seafood chowder in Pormagee, and would have taken another day to explore the Skelligs but we were here off season.
Incredible spot! Every single little detail is just perfect -- from the amazing pub downstairs to the spacious living quarters upstairs. This is hands down the best home we've ever stayed in! We also appreciated Tom's flexibility with us on an early check-in and setting us up with a keg of Guinness. The home is perfectly located. We loved being in Cahersiveen -- a great jumping off point for all Ring of Kerry sights. We were blessed with beautiful weather and hiked the nearby Castlequin Loop which provided the most amazing views!!
Eamonn & Joan made us feel right at home. They cooked a traditional Irish breakfast that was the best in all of Ireland. They gave us recommendations for dinner and we had two delightful meals in town just 5 minutes away. The location was perfect for touring the Ring of Kerry. And it is a short drive to Portmagee where we had an amazing boat ride to the Skellig Islands. And their pup Charlie was adorable! We loved every minute there.
The quaint cottage was clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped. We used the fireplace every evening. That was a real treat. The view of the bay with the mountains as a backdrop was incredible! We’d walk each day through the neighborhood filled with sheep and cows. Absolutely beautiful surroundings! I would come back to Ireland just to stay here! We drive the ring of Kerry. The views here were just as good.
Spacious and fully equipped house with everything you could need, including tea bags, coffee, shampoo, dishwasher tabs and washing machine. Brilliant location, gorgeous views overlooking the marina and mountains, and only a short walk to shops and pubs. Easy drive to all of South Kerry's amazing historical sites and beautiful scenery. Really helpful host, answered all queries quickly. Highly recommended, Thanks!
The location is perfect with ample parking. And the rooms are clean, bright and very comfortable. We stayed here for 4 nights and the staff are some of the most friendly and professional I have experienced. The breakfast was great 😊 and their homemade apple pie is amazing 😊 I would highly recommend staying here if you’d like a hotel with easy access to all of the sites around the ring of Kerry.
Alan our host was so helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate us during our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and airy. The shower had good pressure and was hot. There was also a lovely chill out area with comfy couches and a lovely balcony.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had great variety.
Overall it was a great stay and I will definitely be back next time I'm down in Kerry!
The location, food and views are the best we've experienced. The Attention Eilis and Tom gave made us feel welcomed and above all, the help and tips they offered us to get our dreamed Skelling Michael tour. It is a really nice place to stay and visit the Ring of Kerry and just enjoy Ireland's contry side life.
Absolutely every single thing was exceptional. The highest quality on all levels from bed, underfloor heating, appliances etc. Gary & Agnia couldn't have been nicer and the location is perfect for touring the Ring of Kerry with easy access to Caherciveen, Valentia Island ferry and portmagee.
The personal flair, getting to know the owner who is a terrific woman. Her recommendations for our onward journey were excellent!
The seafood restaurant was amazing for our dinner and the glass of Port was out of this world.
The accommodation was eclectic, refined and of great quality.
Bright, clean bed and breakfast that is professionally operated to a high standard. Friendly owner who shares her knowledge of the town and resources. Lounge in the front has excellent views of the hills and into the town of Cahersiveen.
Nicely located at the Kerry Way, with an amazing view! Our host gave us a lovely welcome and offered us a cold beer, after we had been walking 30km that day. She was always available and happy to help and we felt very good around her!
The location was great. We stayed there because we planned to go to the Skelligs in the next morning. The hotel was clean. The room was ok, looked like a motel room. The staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was great.
The Accommodations were exceptional, clean, comfortable and the proprietors were very kind, helpful good people that made every effort to ensure a pleasant stay.
Clean, comfortable room with a great location along the Ring of Kerry. Local pub nearby. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options and beautifully presented!
