We recently stayed with Bernadette at the Dales and had a lovely time. Bernadette was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Also we were served a delicious cooked breakfast every morning. We will definitely stay with Bernadette again.

The hostess, Sue, was spectacular, super warm and welcoming, and her little dog was also a treat! The breakfast she made was amazing every day. Our room was clean, cozy, and private, which provided an awesome home base for us during a long stay. The location of the stay is also just a short walk to several food options and some fun things to do.

The rooms were so spacious and the house so grand.
The rooms were so spacious and the house so grand. When my friend walked in she declared "it's like being in an episode of Brigeton" it felt very luxurious and we all enjoyed feeling like royalty for the night! The host, Bernadette was a delight and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Lovely little touches like homemade smoothies and fresh flowers ready on arrival heightened the experience. Also very isolated in beautiful location but only 20mins from Gorey town and Brittas bay. Lovely breakfast cooked fresh to order and served on bone china was the icing on the cake.

The scenery, the beach, hotel and the people are great. Visit the place and you’ll not regret it.
We stopped by the Greens Restaurant and Berry Farm. We had coffee with this lovely meringue cake mixed and berries since they serve lunch at 12:30, we were a bit early. Of course we bought fresh strawberries, jam and salad dressing locally produced.

The location was good. near Courtown beach ,Unfortunately because of the weather we didn't get to use the beach. we intended going to Brittis bay but had to cancel because of the weather. Gorey town with good choice of restaurants to suit everyone. Arklow good shopping centre with cinema and Maritime museum. Wicklow a short drive away which has the most stunning scenery. Make sure to book well in advance for eating out.
We eat in Gorey town each evening. Book early in the morning as the restaurants are very busy.
I stayed here with my wife and daughter for a short Christmas break. Woodleigh Lodge is a fantastic find for us. It is 5 Star quality. The owner of the B&B, Sue was incredibly nice and welcoming. The B&B is only a few minutes stroll from the lovely seaside village of Courtown as well as a 5 min drive from the center of Gorey. Our breakfast was cooked fresh to order. Honestly, this is the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in. We will definitely stay here again and are already planning a summer break.
We stayed over on our way from Cork to Dublin. The house is situated in a quiet location with a small stream nearby. There are convenient parking spots and a nearby playground for kids. There's even a tennis court just next door. The host is ultra-friendly and nice and the place is quiet.
If you're looking for a place to eat nearby, you should try out Katie Daly's Bar & Restaurant in Gorey. A lovely pub-restaurant.
John and Philomena, along with Cathal and Roisin, gave us the warmest of welcomes and made us feel very much at home from the moment we arrived. This is a beautiful country house set in the woodlands close to the village of Killinieran and very accessible to all the wonderful sights around Wexford. I will definitely return
Located an easy 30 minute walk from Gorey Town centre. Footpath and lights all the way.
Great place to stay if you're going to an event in the nearby Marlfield House. Just a 10 minute walk from door to door.
Owners were lovely and helpful. Even gave us a lift into town for breakfast. Great stuff altogether.
The hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff gave myself and my partner a warm welcome. We dined in the restaurant ‘Rowan Tree’ which was fab. The rooms were very clean and the spa and leisure facilities were amazing!
Would highly recommend a stay with Ashdown Hotel!
We will be back for another stay
Lovely quiet area. Hens at the back of house. Close to gorey town and courtown. Friendly staff. Got to use granny flat with private entrance instead of two separate rooms as my son has autism and gets anxious in strange places. Really pleased with this. Home from home
We recently stayed for two nights with Sue in Woodleigh Lodge and we had a most enjoyable stay. Sue is a wonderful host , very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was five star we would recommend Woodleigh Lodge if you need to stay in the north Wexford area.
Great location to walk into Gorey as taxis are not plentiful. Clean , comfortable hotel with good food and friendly staff. Breakfast very good as freshly cooked hot food is ordered at your table instead of congealed food on a buffet.
Everything went well. The staff were very professional and excellent in their job. I was very well looked after. The whole experience was excellent. I enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
wonderful hosts a very warm welcome and they directed to nearby Gorey to eat at The excellent Katy Dalys. We had a great sleep, perfect breakfast we will return .
Cosy, private and quiet. Beautiful decor and exceptionally clean. Only a 2 minute walk from the heart of Gorey Town. Bernie was very welcoming on our arrival.
Bernadette was absolutely lovely, amazing service
and amazing attitude towards me and my friends,
