It was disastrous, my wife decided to go down the town for a walk around as she was walking she noticed foreigners watching her every move and they then started to pair up and follow her, she felt so threatened that she had to go into spar shop and wait for me to collect her. Would never visit there again.

Kinsale is a fantastic town for a weekend away.
Kinsale is a fantastic town for a weekend away. There are several excellent restaurants where you will have unforgettable experiences. The Black Pig and Finns Farmcut are amazing. Breakfast can be hit or miss, The Lemon Leaf and OHK were excellent. If the weather allows the walk out to Charles Fort is lovely, with a pint of Murphy’s at the Bulmans. The views at the Old Head of Kinsale are breathtaking, and Garretstown Beach is stunning. The tour and tasting at Kinsale Mead is fascinating and a unique highlight. Be careful choosing where to stay, as standards are not reflected by star ratings, and the centre can be noisy. Parking is challenging with two hour max at the central car park, better at SuperValu but you’ll need to move your car overnight.

We arrived later in the evening but were welcomed wonderfully. If you drive to the hotel, know that parking is only what you find on the street. Our room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was nice.
There isn't an elevator available so if you are on the 3rd floor like we were, be prepared to pull your bags up the stairs.
Be sure to book a paid breakfast with your room reservation. It was soooo good and one of the best meals we had in 2 weeks. A good breakfast gave us the energy to tackle a busy day.
Kinsale is a lovely town and even mid-week on a foggy fall day, we loved walking around.

Kinsale is a picturesque hilly harbourside town with great shops and restaurants. We had beautiful weather enjoyed walking around the town and took the harbor cruise. There were lots of good restaurants (a few require reservations way ahead), lively pubs, and various take-away food options. We stayed 2 nights, but only had 1 full day to explore the town. The roads into town are extremely steep & narrow, so we were happy to be able to park once at our guest house and not drive again till we left. Taxis are almost impossible to find. We ate at Fishy Fishy (had reservations months ahead) our first night and at the Blue Haven Restaurant & Bistro the second night. The live music was great. We heard great things about the Ghost Tour, but didn't have time for that. Parking can be an issue so make sure your guesthouse/hotel has parking. Stop at the Tourism office for great suggestions.

It is a beautiful village on a bay with an old-world charm.
It is a beautiful village on a bay with an old-world charm. It can be quite busy as it is rightly popular. Lots of local shops, pubs and restaurants, all with an authentic feel. Beside the harbour, their are two marinas, two castle ruins and a lovely beach. It is also near the beginning of the Wild Atlantic Way which runs clockwise round the west coats of Ireland. 25 minutes from Cork airport, this place is a real gem

Enjoyed another visit to the Trident Hotel after our first stay over 30 years ago. Of course the hotel has been updated but the essential character remains. Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful.
Accommodation. Good sized, quiet and well appointed room. Air conditioning. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Comfortable bed.
Great view over Kinsale Bay from the third floor room. Well worth the additional cost.
Spacious bedroom with super king bed and plenty of comfy pillows! Breakfast was grand- excellent kippers! Staff were super friendly and helped us immensely, when we had a minor accident with a wheel. They were great with our small dog, and offered advice about walks etc Hotel has easy parking and is a short distance to the town.
The design and attention to detail, as well as effort put in the little (but noticeable) amenities the owner has granted his guests, made this stay an exceptionally pleasant travel destination. Located near plenty of Kinsales best Pubs, Restaurants and leisure locations, it is the perfect get-away for a trip to Kinsale.
Maeve was very welcoming and helpful! Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and a delicious breakfast in the morning with lots of variety in the menu and fresh fruit and home baked bread! The BnB is located up the hill of Kinsale but not a problem if you're mobile. All the staff were helpful and welcoming!
Ladies who book this hotel will be delighted with the Dyson hairdryers in the room - no little small plastic makeshift ones at this hotel.
Very friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast was very nice.
Location was great to stroll around Kinsale at your leisure.
We LOOOOOVED this hotel and it's staff. The location was perfect! The room was small but comfortable with a view of the street which we loved. The breakfast was the best we've had in all of Ireland. So delicious. Overall Kinsale and The White House has been our favorite place!
We had a wonderful stay at the K Kinsale. It's a lovely small boutique hotel 5 mins walk from the centre of Kinsale. Melissa was a brilliant host who was on hand should we need anything and also gave us some great recommendations of things to do.
The views from the hotel's large windows were beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom.
Nice touch to have a heated towel rail.
Pleasant, friendly and approachable staff.
Loved the leisure centre facilities.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is fantastic - walkable to pretty much anything in Kinsale. Ann is extremely helpful with directions or anything you need - she even carried some of our luggage up the stairs for us.
The owner John was a wonderful host. He was very helpful, informative and interesting to chat with about Kinsale and Ireland. Irish breakfast was great. This B&B is on a magnificent property with outstanding views.
Great character to the hotel. Comfortable, warm, great location and the shower was the best shower of any hotel/venue we have ever stayed in. All in all it was great value so 10 out of 10. ⭐️
The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and bright. I liked the character of this older hotel, and the fact that it still had all the modern amenities.
In addition to the continental breakfast, freshly prepared items were available; the smoked salmon and sauteed mushrooms were the best!
Room was spacious and comfortable.
