The LB is a great spot to meet up with family and friends. The service is excellent and the owner is always visible checking up and greeting guests. We have been visiting since 1988 and it never fails us .

The scenery was beautiful. My husband and I loved sitting outside on the patio. Plenty of space to relax in our area upstairs. Plenty of food options too, including the complimentary food that Jean gave us.

The apartments are studios with a little kitchen and cubby with table and two chairs. The bathroom looked brand new and clean. Nothing fancy, but you don't need it. Convenience store and 2 pubs easily walkable

Great location. Lots of space. Three bathrooms in the house. Comfy beds. Everyone we met was really friendly, especially the folks at Johnny D’s pub across the street. Bagenalstown is a beautiful spot along a river. It’s definitely worth the drive (a little over an hour south) from Dublin. It’s an easy drive to many of the places we wanted to see like Kilkenny, Waterford, and Cork. Price was fair (Appropriate to the condition of the house).

Very clean, quiet place, closer to all the amenities. Nice warm house you want to come and relax. The village is historical and beautiful. Make sure you go for a boat ride also for a walk, there are many hidden gems. A nice pint in the local pub will not disappoint you.
Everything really! For starters, the hotel is spotless. The rooms are very nice and what sets it apart from every other hotel we’ve stayed in, is the staff. At least three of the staff went out of their way to help us on different occasions. The car park is excellent compared with many other hotels, were your car is often quite a walk from the hotel entrance. The Lord Bagenal is absolutely super and it has a really good friendly atmosphere about it. With out a doubt, we will definitely return for another visit.
The hotel was in a lovely village and was on the bank of a river, which we could see from our room and saw lots of wildlife. We thought the hotel entrance was really smart and nicely decorated and spacious and our room and bathroom were really clean and a great size. We had a lovely cooked breakfast each morning with plenty of choice and all the staff were very friendly. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was really good.
Everything was exceptional. Huge room and huge bathroom, great views. Lovely friendly staff. Fabulous evening and food in the pub followed by the best breakfast ever the next morning.
The breakfast range and quality was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Wow, just wow!
Thank you and we'll be back again I hope!
fantastic location. great hotel, clever design. excellent food. lovely staff. one minor complaint was the lack of draft drinks in the bar but that was only a minor drawback. will definitely come back. thoroughly enjoyed.
Lovely modern building in the centre of Leighlinbridge. Plenty of parking, spacious and bright entrance with helpful staff. Two minutes walk to the scenic bridge in the middle of Leighlinbridge. Highly recommended.
