We loved our stay at West Cork. We stayed there our first 2 nights in Ireland. Our room had a balcony where we could look out at the town and the river. Breakfast was so good. Not only was there a cold buffet but we could order off the menu. This was included in the price of our room, which was a reasonable price. The absolute best part was the staff. They were all incredibly nice, but I want to especially mention Csaba at the front desk. He greeted us when we first arrived, and was very helpful. I want to also mention Paul Cheung in the bar. Our first night in Ireland, we were tired and very hungry and didn't want to go anywhere. Paul had dinner brought to us in the bar, and I have to say it was some of the best food we had during our trip. Absolutely delicious! Both of these men as well as the breakfast staff and other staff at the front desk were all very warm yet professional and so kind. Thank you!

Beautiful location on a hill top. The lodge looks like a converted stable on a sizable estate. Everything was top notch. The friendly cats made my daughter’s day.

The value of the property is amazing. Two stories. The first level has a sitting room, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and even a back porch where you can hang your laundry. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and two more bathrooms. Plenty of space and a nicely furnished home.
Vincent is a charming and interesting gentleman who will give you the shirt off of his back. We even met up with him at Nolan’s bar and he bought us some drinks. If you want an authentic Irish experience, come here.

It is a stunningly beautiful little village and one of Ireland best kept secrets. Off season was perfect to see it and had some delicious food there . Very close to other really beautiful coastal villages too but will definitely go back to spend more time in Union Hall as we found it a particularly charming village in gorgeous west cork

It's a small village, with a shop, a cafe that is only open at the weekends, and one great pub (and a second OK pub). The people are friendly, but there is not much else here. With a few more shops and cafes, it could be a bustling little port village, but it needs some investment. It is a great location for visiting other places, and it has some nice walks around the area (although it is a hilly location).

We had a great meal in The Dock Wall, with seating on a terrace right up against the water. There's not a huge amount to do in the town itself, but there are several walking routes to nearby beaches that can be done in 1-3 hours, and plenty to do and see outdoors in the scope of a day trip. I loved how quiet and peaceful the location was.

A very pretty village with a lovely sandy beach; a perfect launch spot for stand up paddle boarding or kayaking and a lovely swimming spot. I recommend driving across to Glandore for wonderful seafood at either the Glandore Inn or Hayes. Nearby, there is a really cool, alternative Irish pub called Connellys of Leap - great live music and amazing wood fired pizza.
Our room looked out at the sea, with lovely little yachts on view. It is such a picturesque place. The breakfast was top class and the accommodation was spotless. The breakfast room also looked out on the sea. The food in the village of Union Hall was excellent, with plenty of variety on the menu., fish , steak, burgers pasta. Our hostess was delightful and advised us of the best places to visit, for example Barleycove Beach, Mizen Head, Skibberreen, Schull, Glandore. The place is laid back and relaxed a gem really.
The accommodation was top class. This is a purpose built B&B with clean, spacious and well decorated and furnished en suite bedrooms. The Kearney's were great hosts and went out of their way to provide excellent service and advice about night life and events in the area. The breakfasts were restaurant standard and we would have no hesitation at all in recommending Lis Ardagh Lodge to any travelers looking for exceptional comfort and service at affordable prices. This is 4 star service at 3 star prices. 10/10
Beautiful suite of rooms, bedroom, shower, and comfortable seating area with tea/coffee facilities and TV. Beautiful views of Keelbeg Pier and Union Hall. Very well organised breakfast slots to allow for social distancing/covid compliance. We had an array of breakfast over our visit, all excellent quality. A great location to visit West/Southwest Cork - Very good food at Dintys Pub and The Dock Wall in the village, no need to go any further and a 10 minute walk from Shearwater
This was a gem of a place. We arrived after a long day of cycling and were quite tired and hungry. The setting was in a the quaint village of Union Hill and unfortunately the local pubs were not open for that day. Julie, the host, drove us to a nearby town for dinner, and picked us afterwards. She was also so kind as to throw our bike clothing into the wash. Her breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of items.
We stayed at Lis-Ardagh Lodge overnight on a motorcycle trip around Southern Ireland. It is an exceptional place to stay, immaculately clean and standards consistent with a top class hotel. The hosts Carol & Jim were very welcoming and clearly take great pride in their guesthouse. Lovely breakfast & plenty of secure parking. Would definitely stay again if re-visiting Ireland.
Beautiful rooms and bath. The house is set in delightful gardens and neighborhood. Walking distance to lovely Union Hall and a short drive to many other great locations. Great breakfast with menu options every morning. Friendly hosts that were keen to be helpful. Could not ask for more.
Perfect location in Union Hall. Amazingly friendly and hard working host Adella. Varied breakfast, without hot eggs, but with everything else. Rooms overlooking Glandore Harbor. Short walk to pubs and restaurants in town. Property is updated and is perfectly clean. QUIET!!
. We are back home after a week in Ireland. We past the first night in Union Hall at seascape B&B. All was perfect, warm welcome, cosy room, good prize, and very nice breakfast served by Julie our sympathic hotess . Seascape will stay the best B&B of our Irish stay.
Beautiful home in a stunning location. Perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas or simply staying local and enjoying a more relaxed pace. Michael and Sheelagh were great hosts. Looking forward to being able to return to Union Hall again in the future.
Gorgeous property in an idyllic area. Walk to the nearby town for a sumptuous meal. Breakfast, served on white linen, is beautiful, and also delicious. Such careful attention to detail—and the hosts are an absolute delight.
Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was fabulous. The room was lovely, really comfortable and clean and the location is great as it's just a short walk to Union Hall.
Location was very good, an easy walk into Union Hall. Beautiful views over the bay. Quiet and peaceful. Nice clean and well stocked studio. Adela was helpful with recommendations of where to eat and what to do
Everything! The property is stunning, the decor is gorgeous. The views were a delight and the host was 10/10. And there are 3 bars/restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance - what's not to love!
Lis-Ardagh Lodge is a truly wonderful place to stay. The rooms are lovely. It is in a quiet setting with beautiful grounds, but it is very close to the town of Union Hall.
