Very new, clean and modern hotel of 3 floors with a lift to the 2nd level. I stayed on the 3rd floor which was like a converted attic, with slanted ceilings and 2 roof top windows which opened. Comfortable bed and a nice rack like area to put your clothes along with a desk and mirror to do hair or makeup. Location was great, in city center and short walk to train/bus station and Eyre Square. Contactless check in via email instructions and room key provided via a lockbox. 12 rooms total in the very quiet building. Secured entry by key only. Convenient shopette next door for snacks, drinks, ready made salads/sandwiches, coffee, etc that opens at 7am. Close to lots of shopping and pubs. Great location, within walking distance to Quay St and Latin Quarter, yet far enough to be very quiet in the evenings. I spent 3 nights here.

Looking for a serviced apartment?

Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.

Great amenities and very comfortable rooms. The kitchen was well equipped and probably the cleanest hostel kitchen I’ve come across. Felt more like a serviced apartment (with a shared kitchen) rather than a hostel, which really suited us!

I entered to a welcome package on the table and some provisions in the fridge. not required for self catering but very nice touch! Clear instructions on the operation of all devices in the apartment.

I liked nothing of the accommodation. It is not an aparthotel. It is fully student accommodation. The 2 bed "apartment" is made for 2 students and not 4 adults. The "double" bed is actually a four foot bed. Luckily, we are not tall or heavy people. Galway is great.

Location was excellent. Very central. It was self-catering. The common areas were bright and airy with a lovely outside space. The kitchen area was very comfortable.

Good location, close to groceries, facilities allowed self catering. This would be better value for money for more guests, I am a solo traveler and options with self catering are limited for me.

Location was close to shops and restaurants. Walking distance from centre of Galway.Car park on site. Moreton's shop opposite had everything you needed for self catering.

The apartment was immaculate and well appointed for self catering stay with great attention to detail. Beautiful linens and towels, lovely artwork on walls. Joyce is an excellent host, there to meet us on arrival, and on hand if needed, not that there was anything needed. Pre- booking communication was also excellent. Location excellent, close to Galway City and Salthill prom. Also ideal for exploring Conamara. The apartment is part of a passive house so great for reducing your carbon footprint.
