The one bedroom apartment was perfect for our four night stay to explore the area. Having the clothes washer/dryer in the apartment and the small grocery store next door added to the convenience of the stay. Hugh was a great host providing helpful suggestions for the area and responded to any inquiries quickly.

The accommodation is surrounded by some must-dos for tourists such as Cong, Connemara National Park and Diamond Hill as well as Kylemore Abbey. Book and enjoy your stay! :)

They had great tips about the surrounding area, including restaurants. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short or even for a longer stay. It is clearly maintained to high standards and with attention to detail. The furniture may seem a bit retro, but comfortable and appropriate for the setting. All in all, we would highly recommend staying at Melotte's Self Catering.AAnitaFamily with young children

The rooms are large and bright and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We can absolutely recommend the flat and loved our stay there.
