The house and the owners were really lovely - it was a fabulous stay because everything was great. The place is really quiet and peaceful and the road was just right for taking our old dog for a walk. It was also fabulous to be able to take our dog on holiday with us. The kitchen facilities were amazing. The hosts had practically everything (and being a chef it really made a difference having the kitchen kit) The shower room was fab too - a great powerful hot shower. And lovely little comforts of shampoo, conditioner and soap. Although they were off site the bee hives were amazing to watch

Our host welcomed us with a warm smile and a wealth of knowledge about the local area and some great recommendations for things to do while we were there. The local area is quiet and scenic and just quite simply stunning, we cannot wait to return to Ivy Lane
