Nick & Sandra's is situated in Slane. This apartment is 4 km from Slane Castle and 5 km from Hill of Slane. Although Nick and Sandra's was a iittle hard to find since it is out in the country, it was a lovely apartment that we enjoyed very much! The kitchen was well-stocked so even though breakfast "wasn't included," we had plenty of options for preparing our own breakfast. Nick and Sandra were quite attentive to making sure they would be available when we arrived and were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the nearby town and found the location and apartment to be very relaxing and comfortable. (You would have a hard time getting there without a car.)

Set in Brownstown in the Navan region of Meath, Brownstead Cottage has a shared garden. The cottage is in a beautiful setting and nicely located close to Dublin. The hosts, Fintan and Valerie were friendly, cooperative and treated us like family friends rather than customers. They were helpful and told us about places to eat, sites to visit and more.

Converted outhouse. Lovely open fire. Stumbled across the owners who gave us a really nice welcome like we were family visiting. Coffee and treats which was lovely as the shop is 2km or so away. We did the "girly" walk nearby. 5km loop and lovely to start the day.
