We loved everything about Grange Manor. It is an amazing property with so much atmosphere that you feel transported back in time. Mary is a fabulous hostess and gave us a thoroughly entertaining history of the house. Grange Manor is spotless, exclusive, incredible value, and we enjoyed every second of our stay there. It was an experience that will stay with us always.

Such a good experience spending the night, and feeling like a part of a scene from “the crown”. So peaceful and quiet. Frank was a great host, very kind and made us feel like home. It felt like we were treated in an old world palace, with thick walls and beautiful large rooms in a parklike setting. Mary is a wonderful hostess who does everything to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay. Excellent breakfast and Mary even insisted I take her lovely homemade muffin as a ‘take away’ gift. Highest recommendation to stay at Grange Manor.

The house and grounds are beautiful and the hosts (Mary and Frank) were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices and home made bread and scones, as well as a choice of eggs or full Irish breakfast, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, etc. Kilkenny is about 20-30 min away (by car) and is a lovely city to visit, with great restaurants and plenty to see and do.
