Charming rural location with great views and people. Rooms were very clean and the building was newly renovated. The attached pub turned into a nice community gathering spot at night with lots of drinking options on tap!

We were delighted to meet her and her husband. They gave us tips and advices to find a restaurant and to have a wonderful time by the cliffs of Moher. The room is quiet and confortable with a view on the Burren. The breakfast was perfect as well. We were treated like Kings and we'll keep wonderful memories of our stay at Josephine's house. Like others already stated: directly next to a landmark (Kilmacduagh Abbey/Monastery with round tower). The room I was in was tasteful, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It's a great location and I used it as a base to see The Burren, go to the Aran Islands, visit family near Ennis, shop in Galway. Coole Park which is near Gort was a beautiful place to walk. There were lovely walks around the roads near the BnB too and I enjoyed my hour of morning walk along the stone-fenced roads usually only observed by the cows!

Gort is a small town, but has everything you need. The hotel was very clean and quiet. I loved being able to dine in the restaurant - with Covid restrictions it would have been quite a hassle finding another place for meals. Both the restaurant and the bar have very cozy outdoor areas.
