Everything! We were on a mission to look for family contacts in the area. Nicole and Simon were incredibly generous with their time, as has been mentioned before. Between them we've been sent down more rabbit holes to investigate. Breakfasts were yummy, beds were sublimely comfy. The house and grounds amazing. Even the toiletries in the bathroom were special. We could have stayed a year. Thank you to our very gracious hosts.

Absolutely magical stay in Ash Hill. The property is a historic house, that has been renovated inside for all the comfort one needs. We had an amazing stay, with a huge bedroom and a bathroom. Mountain view was a bonus surrounded by a beautiful garden. Host was amazing and went out of their way to look after us. Loved our morning and evening walks throughout the stay admiring nature and the peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Asked for breakfast in bed and it was no problem and it was lovely. No rush checking out till 1pm. Kettle in room very welcome having had no power at home due to storm. Quiet surroundings. Lift. Man came to fix sink stopper in matter of mins. Forgot a jumper and it was held for me for collection.

Big room, very comfy bed, quiet and lovely countryside view with a nice 8k circular walk. Turn right outside the gate. Take the next right down Green Road and keep turning right and you arrive back into the village to walk around the ancient walls. Overall a very nice stay in a house with a real history and the owner will provide a fascinating potted history tour of the property.

Quiet, comfortable, spotless! The owners could not have been nicer and more welcoming. A super find for a restful night / business traveller. Food is excellent and lovely to have a healthy fish option for dinner. Breakfast also excellent. I’ll will def use The Deebert in future for this area.
