Only 20 minutes from Galway City and situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, Weir Haven is a picturesque thatched country house with luxurious and stylish interiors. The suites have spectacular views over the pretty cottage gardens and the Weir Estuary. Each suite has it's own galley kitchen and is provided with a continental breakfast hamper.

Everything about our stay was magical. Everything you see in this beautiful luxurious country home, inside and out, and every detail was done to an exceptional standard. It is evident that our wonderful Kathleen's taste for decor and for comfort are well above average. Watching a magnificent sunset and "listening" to the silence, interrupted only by the sound of birds chirping was a truly memorable experience, one that we will never forget. We sincerely hope we can come back from Australia, to this beautiful place and know we would be greeted as old friends by Kathleen. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful cabin with great facilities. I have stayed in off-grid accommodation before where the facilities were very limited, but the cabin here had all the comforts while also maintaining the ecologically-focused ideals. The quality of the cabin itself can't be faulted, you have exactly what you need. The surroundings are nice and quiet. We had all kinds of weather during our stay, but it was just as nice to sit by the fire on a rainy day as it was to explore during the sunshine.

Great location, the owners were absolutely lovely Great value for money with a lovely breakfast. Lots of things reminded me of my family house, so felt very nostalgic. Incidentally, lost my family pendant of Mother Mary somewhere in a crack under the bathroom door so left a little bit of myself there!

We booked very spontaneously and honestly looked for the cheapest place in the area. However, after arriving, we would have gladly paid a bit more. The house is cozy and charming, the hosts were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was very nice.

Lovely bed and breakfast run by a warm, friendly family. Made us feel very welcome and provided information on places to visit. The room was ideal - clean and large enough for the four of us. Amenities were all very close by so great location. Breakfast was lovely and no request was too much.
