Anne and the family are great hosts. And the house is so beautiful and cosy. Really enjoyed our short stay there. We had wonderful full irish breakfast (other options available too). They kindly offered to bring us to Ballynacarrigy, where we continued our walk along the Royal canal. So, if you are a walker/carless, just let Anne know.

The location was perfect, right on the main road. Despite this it was very quiet and there was ample and well-lit parking. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient and there were generous portions for breakfast and in the evening . The room had all the amenities I needed: a desk at the right height, a lamp and power sockets and a strong and secure WiFi. The bed was comfortable and the small clothes storage / hanging area ideal.

What a fantastic find Inny river lodge is. A charming B&B run by the host with the most Anne Fitzgerald. Spotless accommodation and a full Irish breakfast to die for. A lovely base for touring around mid Ireland. Cannot recommend this bed and breakfast home from home enough. Thank you Anne for a lovely relaxing stay! X

Very warmly welcomed by Anne with a cuppa and fresh home made scones. Had a lovely chat about the story behind the house. Inny Lodge is in a quiet location which is what we wanted, though it means a ride out to get something to eat. Visited Belvedere house which is not to far away and Tullamore which is a busy town. A good map or sat nav is helpful in this area. Excellent breakfasts which included home made soda bread. But by far the best aspect of Inny Lodge is Anne who was the perfect host, amazing hospitality by such a lovely lady.
