The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

Located 2 km from the rural town of Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny, Grange Manor boasts 26 acres of landscaped grounds and easy access to the River Nore. We loved everything about Grange Manor. It is an amazing property with so much atmosphere that you feel transported back in time. Mary is a fabulous hostess and gave us a thoroughly entertaining history of the house. Grange Manor is spotless, exclusive, incredible value, and we enjoyed every second of our stay there. It was an experience that will stay with us always.

The hosts (and their dog) were very friendly and welcoming. Elizabeth was a delight and so helpful telling us all good places to visit in town plus directions. We were treated to a full Irish breakfast in the morning with homemade bread which was delicious!
