Set in the beautiful Cooley Hills with coastal and forest views, Safe Haven is close to popular mountain, forest and beach walks, and a 10 minute drive to the medieval village of Carlingford. The house is decorated in modern, contemporary fashion with Boutique style features such as solid wood floors and open fireplaces. There is high speed internet access throughout the property. Mark was lovely, made myself and my dog fell right at home, room was lovely and clean. Bathroom was well stocked with jacuzzi tub and bathrobes/slippers. Great breakfast as well.

Spectacular staff, amazing food and you can’t get a better location. Beds were very comfortable and water was hot, breakfast made to order and a great selection of fruit, yogurt toast and juice in addition to the main breakfast. The little extras give this place have a special charm that will stay in your memories forever.

Amazing wee cottage to stay in,very warm and cosy with the stove. Great location in the mountains and only a couple minutes drive into Omeath. Catriona was a great host and even invited our 2 year old on an Easter egg hunt with her grandchildren on Easter morning which he loved! Would definitely return

We stayed here with our daughter and grandchildren.The rooms were spotless bed linen and bath towels. We had a lovely breakfast fresh fruit salad, cereals and cooked breakfast. We would have no hesitation recommending this B and B . Staff were helpful and friendly .

Quiet place out of the city centre, surrounded by green. Maybe more suitable for guests with own car. Room was large and in my opinion equipted above standard (ironing, kettle for preparing tea), Very good selection for the breakfast.
