Situated just 18 km from Mullingar Arts Centre, Lir Lodge offers accommodation in Castlepollard with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as full-day security. Great location central to many attractions with a very well kept property. Host was very kind, helpful, and knowledgable of the area. Breakfast was fresh pastries and fruit with a nice coffee or tea. Desk and wifi were suitable for distance working. I recommend this location and would gladly return.

Situated in Athlone and only less than 1 km from Athlone Castle, Riverdale House B&B features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great breakfast. The staff is really kind. We asked for a suggestion for dinner and they directly made the reservation for us and then they drove us to the restaurant. They also prepared an early breakfast since we were leaving early in the morning. They gave us a scale to weight our luggage. Really nice.

Tastiest full Irish breakfast using free range produce from their own resources. Bernie could not have been a more hospitable and obliging host. Even got to play Croquet on the lawn. If I could rate my overall experience 11/10 I would!
