Host was very kind, helpful, and knowledgable of the area. Breakfast was fresh pastries and fruit with a nice coffee or tea. Desk and wifi were suitable for distance working. I recommend this location and would gladly return.

Great breakfast. The staff is really kind. We asked for a suggestion for dinner and they directly made the reservation for us and then they drove us to the restaurant. They also prepared an early breakfast since we were leaving early in the morning. They gave us a scale to weight our luggage. Really nice.

Inny River Lodge offers a rural setting next to the Inny River and surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Delightful hosts. Horses frolicking in the paddock next door. Quiet. Near the river. Terrific stay.

Quietly situated, the family-run Shelmalier House is just 5 minutes’ drive from the town of Athlone. It features a sauna, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, room tidy and clean, quiet place

On the West bank of the River Shannon, Shannonside House is set within large, private gardens. Guests can enjoy home cooking and free parking, and Athlone's centre is a 5-minute walk away. Lovely place and wonderful people!
