Blackstairs Shepherds Huts ligger i en historisk bygning i Killedmond, 15 km fra Carrigleade Golfbane, og har have og bjergudsigt. Denne feriebolig har balkon med udsigt over floden. My stay at Robert and Mary's was phenomenal. They are some of the kindest people ever and really care about making sure you feel at home, no matter how long you're staying. I stayed by myself for a week with no car and would have been perfectly content to not leave the property at all. When I did leave, however, they let me use their own bikes and then provided me with the number of a very nice taxi driver when I needed to go further. Mary even offered to pick up groceries for me while she was in town! If you're looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, this is it. The beds are super comfortable and the daily breakfast is a great addition. My Shepard's Hut was one of the coziest spots ever, sometimes I didn't leave for hours. A nice quiet retreat, perfect for reading, relaxing, hiking, you name it. The town of Borris nearby is small and quaint, with some really good restaurants and pubs. The ambience of staying here while it rained (as it often does here) was unmatched and met my expectations for an ideal trip to Ireland. Would love to come back someday.

St Mullins Camping ligger i Saint Mullins, 3,8 km fra Carrigleade Golfbane og 29 km fra Mount Juliet Golfklub. Der tilbydes indkvartering med opholdsområde. The location was absolutely idyllic, truly sublime. Tranquil, beautiful, rich greenery with stunning stone walls, the whole place was pristine, with a lovely, relaxing feel about it. Thomas,the host, made us feel extremely welcome, he was fantastic. A credit to you Thomas and a huge THANK YOU 🤣🤣🤣 The only improvement could be a separate toilet, this wasn’t an issue during our stay as it was very quiet, but if it was busy it may pose an issue. Hot water would have been a bonus.
