Ideal location in a beautiful seaside area.nicely decorated, comfortable friendly staff.Enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast to order in the refurbished breakfast room.Very reasonably priced. WILL be back.good advice given for local walks.
This friendly hotel has lovely views over the sea and estuary and offers good-value food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork City and Cobh.

A lovely welcoming boutique hotel in a great location
Located at the entrance of Youghal Harbour, Avonmore House B&B is set in a Georgian house, on the grounds of a former Franciscan Abbey.

Beautiful property, set back from the road ,ample parking. The host Mary & John are the nicest people you could ever meet, nothing was too much trouble. So friendly and hospitable, rooms are spotless with the added feature of a fridge in the room. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the homemade different breads were gorgeous.
I will definitely return to stay and have already recommended it to family and friends.

Fabulous townhouse - Better than a hotel. Very easy to self check-in via the lockbox. Freda is an excellent host. Very comfortable room with a great nights sleep. Lovely breakfast in the room with hot croissants delivered to your door. Highly recommend for your next stay in Youghal

We only spent one day in Ardmore itself as there is so much else to do close by..but Ardmore had a nice beach and playground and also has St Declans well which is nice to visit. We got food from the local shop and had a picnic on the beach so I can't comment on cafes/ restaurants. It had a little shop with a small selection of cheap toys which was just what the kids wanted so all good.

Ardmore is a most charming village, with beautiful walks on the beach or cliff. Summer is the best time to visit, the place comes alive then. There is a beautiful walk along the cliff starting just past the Cliff House Hotel. This walk is quite easy, take your time, enjoy the views, stop and admire the many birds and gulls that soar overhead. Watch the fishing boats leave and come back with their catch to the pier. Visit St Declans Well and make a wish. The walk will take you back via the Round Tower which is worth a visit. There are cafe's, art galleries and craft shops, hotels and plenty of B & B's, the pubs are welcoming and offer food and entertainment during the holidays. A true Waterford welcome is awaiting anyone who visits this beautiful award winning village!

Crazy busy during the summer, full of craft shops and eateries but in November a number of the businesses were closed. The weather was wet and outside of the hotel, with its fantastic facilities there was little to do. At the same time it is a good base to take in Youghal, Lismore and Dungarvan.

A wonderful first experience in Glamping.
A wonderful first experience in Glamping. Small fridge and kettle in room. Good quality linens and towels. Kitchen very well equipped- plates, cutlery, pots and pans and gadgets. Plenty of space for everyone. If you want to be alone- that’s fine or if you want to socialize with other holiday makers you can. Staff helpful. Gated area so very safe.
The apartment was fabulous! Located right in the centre of Ardmore town it is the perfect place for family or a group of friends for a break at the sea! The apartment was sparkling clean with all the towels and sheets you could need! The kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed and more. Everything was so modern and new! All the staff that helped us with our booking and extra plans were outstanding! The lovely staff made the trip even better! The location is also fabulous for swimming as you are less than a minute walk from the beach!
Our arrival time changed unexpectedly but Evelyn and Mary couldn't have been more accommodating. The house was lovely and really well stocked with the basics. (Even some goodies in the fridge on arrival!) The view of the sea was lovely to wake up to each day and having the patio and garden was a bonus!! We hosted a small family gathering while there and everyone commented on the lovely, bright and sunny living room. We'll be happy to return to this gem in Ardmore.
We had a lovely relaxing holiday, the house was so close to lots of great beaches. It was lovely and comfortable. Our dog was welcome too. We had everything we needed in the house and Helen our host was very welcoming, She had tea and biscuits for us on arrival and brought homemade scones to us during the week. She was there if we needed anything during our stay. Bring everything you need for the holiday as Ardmore itself is very quiet off season .
the bath therapies was an amazing relaxing experience such a nice energy in the spa. The staff on reception, door, spa, and bar were very friendly and helpful. the room was equipped with everything needed and extras. the view, furnishing, and decoration in the pink room was gorgeous with an unreal shower and bath tub. the cliff walk next to the hotel was so refreshing and calming. overall the atmosphere and energy of this hotel were outstanding.
Nice property in a good location for a base around south east Ireland. Spacious house with good outdoor space for the dog. Very useful covered passage for storing coats, boots etc. Very warm and cosy. Within walking distance to a lovely sandy beach and a short drive from Ardmore which was a nice seaside town with lots of interesting places to visit. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
super cute property about 15 minutes from a couple small towns in south Ireland. Teresa took us in last minute as she had a cancellation. it was a wonderful stay in the beautiful countryside. our room overlooked a sunset and we woke up to the sounds of the family farm. really could not be more picturesque. the breakfast was also phenomenal and plentiful
Thanks Mary. Things were great. Just so you are aware, the pressure on the hot water heater was down below 1 and would not let the heater ignite. After reading unit directions we increased pressure to recommended level of between 1 and 2 and everything worked fine. A just in case for the future. Thanks for the accommodations for a great Ardmore visit.
Love staying here. The staff as always are lovely for interaction. The food was sublime. Location cannot be faulted. Leisure facilities as well as the seaweed bath overlooking Ardmore was a sight to behold. The terrace room was lovely, comfortable and clean. I look forward to my next stay here again…very soon
Teresa gave us a warm and friendly welcome on a rainy night, spacious, quiet room, comfortable beds, great water pressure in showers, delicious breakfast with Irish breakfast, crepes, yogurt, fruit, bread and pastries, juices, and coffee or tea. Beautiful grounds near Kinsale, Ardmore and the coast.

The location was perfect. There are 4 bedroom and we were 3 couples and 1 single. The view from each room of the sea was very special. It's beside the Cliff House Hotel where we had an amazing dinner one night.
