Borris is a lovely old style village/town in South Carlow. Borris House and its surrounds give great character to the place. Plenty of scenic views in the area. The old railway viaduct trail at the bottom of the village is worth a visit.

Lovely quaint village with a fine estate house right in the centre of the village. Peaceful relaxing , an ideal place for relaxation and also close to kilkenny city . Lovely old pubs especially Joyce's. A magnificent viaduct that was part of the railway network.

Village has one great restaurant but lacks other choice's. Great surrounding countryside, river and hidden villages. Friendly locals.
