Very easy to check in and given helpful information e.g. where to eat and get breakfast. Room was spotless and bed was comfy. Yes you are over a pub we stayed on a Saturday night so there was some noise but once it was closing time there was no further noise and we slept very well. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area.

Clonmany,Ballyliffin and surrounding areas are beautiful,...

Clonmany,Ballyliffin and surrounding areas are beautiful, scenic, clean, attractive for all age groups. Visit the Glendowen craft and weaving shop on road to Buncrana. Bring your walking gear, extra towel for beach. Bring a high viz jacket if you plan to walk to the hotels after dark. A refreshing break for us, senior citizens, and will return.

Our wee family stayed in the cottage on a wintry week between ice and thunderstorms. Despite this, it was warm, comfortable, inviting and the perfect place for a short break. The hosts were friendly and left us with our privacy, and they had stocked the house up with a few things to make us feel at home, including having the space well heated on arrival. The location is beautiful, with lots of walks and the nearby village of Clonmany is a great destination with a wonderful community-run café and space.

Well equipped and comfortable cottage in a peaceful rural setting about a kilometer from Clonmany which is situated in a beautiful area of County Donegal. Good communication with host.comfortable bed. Good shower. Washing machine in situ. Lovely fire going in stove prior to my arrival. Milk and biscuits provided. I absolutely loved the authentic use of decoration in the cottage and garden and barn.

Lovely comfortable and spacious cottage right on the coast 2 minutes walk from Pollan Bay beach. Very well equipped with everything a family could need for a week long stay. Even had lovely hotel quality bedding and towels. The free access to the pool in the Ballyliffen Lodge was a brilliant added bonus that was a huge hit with the kids.

The host welcomed us with the keys as we got into Clonmany late in the night. They were very warm and welcoming and had a real fire burning for us in the living room which was beautiful and comforting on a cold night. The house had amazing views and was very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend it.
