The accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything I needed for my few days stay. Very quiet location and nice to be woken up by the birds singing. Both hosts were friendly and helpful and supplied an excellent breakfast. The accommodation was located in a good area to go sightseeing in whichever direction I chose. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. All the staff were excellent. Breakfast was first class highly recommended
The village is small and quiet. Two bars when we visited but soon to be just one. One shop, which has everything you need including a deli.
There's a couple of take away places but no where to dine in, so be aware of that.
It's not far to Kilcullen, which appears to be a larger place so eating there may be an option, providing you drive.
