Located in the historic Boyne Valley, Collon House is just 20 minutes’ drive from Mellifont Abbey and Monasterboice High Crosses.

This is a wonderfully romantic place to stay. The house is lovingly and skillfully filled with period furnishings and accessories. The service was excellent. A remarkable house.

The Gateway Hotel, hotel in Dunleer

The Gateway Hotel Dundalk, where extraordinary experiences and unmatched service await you.

Since this hotel is a place where refugees stay, the workers there, their order and behavior are adjusted accordingly. When I entered the hotel, the reception's behavior towards me was the same. A very cold welcome, no information was given about the hotel. The room was not bad, but there was no light in the room, there was no refrigerator, and there were no slippers provided for single use. The heating system of the room could go up to a maximum of 22 degrees. hotel fire alarm went off for 10 minutes every day in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon and so on. This caused us to get out of bed in panic. Later, repair and renovation works are carried out in the building, and the sound of the drill penetrates directly into the human brain. The breakfast was very simple. Lunch was delicious and satisfying. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was not high quality or fresh at all. Cleaning and cleaning workers were good, I thank them all. Boyne Valley Hotel - Bed & Breakfast Only, hotel in Dunleer

In 12 acres of lush, green gardens The Boyne Valley is an elegant 19th-century mansion on the M1 road to Dublin and less than 30 minutes’ drive from Dublin Airport.

The mattress and pillows were suitably firm, much better than other hotels we've stayed in. The room was clean and tidy with a beautiful bath and shower ensuite.

Totally amazing place to stay which exceeded our expectations. Great location in the Irish countryside - quiet and peaceful, local villages very scenic and plenty of historical tourist sights closeby. The property was extremely comfortable for a family of 4 adults, all you could possibly need and more! The incredible range of food and drink provided for breakfast/supper was delicious and very handy (eg variety of bread, cheese, ham, yogurts, cereal, cakes, crisps, fruit etc etc etc). The beds were extremely comfy and everything you could possible need was provided. The host was very welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we had the best time. We spent one day exploring local castles, villages and UNESCO heritage site Newgrange. The next day we drove to the other side of Ireland and back to explore Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. A beautiful, memorable stay!
