We had a mix up with the room we had booked but Jeff sorted it quickly and we were given two individual rooms. The rooms are all decorated differently bit are all individual and unique. The house was lovely and warm. We used the lovely sitting room which had a lovely roaring fire, we had brought some nibbles ( salami's, cheese etc ) and wine with us which we happily shared with lovely couple ( and their dog)as we sat chatting for a few hours - very relaxed atmosphere. Svetlana had made a surprise cake for the two guests who were celebrating a special event and she made tea etc for us all.
The gardens ( many years of work and a labour of love) are lovely and the birdsong - wow it is amazing.

We came with public transport and got picked up at the bus stop, that was very nice. Couldn't and wouldn't have booked it otherwise. It is a very beautiful old lodge and very, very close to the Wicklow trail.
