The bar staff Andrea & Kathleen were courteous, friendly & personable. Night time security ran up the stairs while I took the lift to ensure my safety to my room. Absolutely above & beyond expectations.

I liked the live music in the bars, the choice of restaurants and the interesting shops. I got some lovely birthday presents while l was rambling round the town. Westport House and grounds are lovely, although the House is closed for renovations temporarily. Westport is a good base also for other interesting places in Mayo. All in all, good in any season.

Westport is a small town but has everything traveller could wish for. Loads of great bars and restaurants. Independent shops abound. There s s lovely atmosphere at this time of year. The locals are very friendly and it is a pleasure to visit. Close to the town are wonderful beaches and the village of Louisburgh nearby is also well worth a stop.
Finally Westport is about an hour's scenic drive from magical Achill Island.

Westport is a charming picturesque bustling Irish town situated in the West of Ireland and central to Connemara and Atlantic Way. High quality pups and eateries with traditional Irish flair, great for foodies and coffee shop lovers alike.
Traditional Irish pubs with Irish music overlook the town square and the old bridge which crosses the river where fly fishermen cast their rods. The local people are friendly and welcoming.

Lack of entrtainment meant we had to travel into Wesport centre each night. As a result we booked in for a 4th night into a hotel in Wesport centre,
Wesport, very compact town, great shops, restaurants and bars.
Brilliant location for sightseeing in and around the area.
Need to be careful driving in the centre as new type crossings are not clearly marked and many visitors wouldnt realise they were pedistrian crossings.
Croak Patrick, Knock, Leanne -The Field and Kilgarry river cruise were great visits.
The hotel was a beautiful place in the country. Apparently on a golf course, so if you are wanting to play golf, this is your place. The room was spacious, clean bright and great layout. We always enjoy the kettle and coffee/tea area in the rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff helpful. We also ate dinner and enjoyed the food and menu. I thought the Westport was closer to town, but for us it was fine to a little further out. I had the best sleep, the bed and coverings were so comfortable.
The house has been transformed into a rambling B&B with character and vintage charm, and the rooms are appointed well and comfortable, spacious, and the location is good--without knowing more of Westport can't say it's the best location, though fancier/tour hotels are next door. Walking to the river and main street was 5 minutes. Everything was clean and our room was quiet. Breakfast was good--not memorable but filling. Great value for the price and a good night's sleep!
The Wyatt Hotel is like home, everyone is so friendly and caring, it's a wonderful hotel, very clean. I have travelled all over Europe and this hotel is the best 3 star hotel I have come across as I told the receptionist this morning when I was leaving. Very close to all the amenities the beautiful Westport has to offer. We keep coming back year after year..
We had a Superior King Room and it was a corner room so it was very spacious. Room and facilities were clean and staff are very courteous. Hotel is close to town center and close to train station. The Spa is in the adjacent building, however, there is direct access from the 1st floor of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful.
Fantastic hotel and location was excellent. Really easy to get into town along the greenway and lots to do around. The staff are super friendly and can't do enough. Breakfast was exceptional and so tasty - great choice of food and lovely menu. Rooms were lovely and great view from the front. Would definitely return.
The b&b is very well run. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, very accommodating with early breakfast and luggage storage. Martha provided maps and plenty of advice in relation to the nearby hotels and pubs. The b&b is only a short walk from the town centre. The view from the b&b is stunning.
Excellent location in the centre of the town yet still quiet at night. Marie on reception was wonderful giving knowledgeable information on local places to visit. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. All the staff were so polite and helpful. A great hotel to stay in.
Rachel and Julian were exceptional hosts and very welcoming. Their home was impeccable in every way and the breakfast was most delicious! Rachel is a great cook. They have a garden and chickens that provided the freshest of eggs. It was a little gem on our journey through Ireland.
Location was great, right in the middle of town. The hotel has installed two sets of windows on the front and our room had double paned windows on the side to cut down on outside noise. It was effective. Could open the side windows to let in the cool, western Ireland air.
Such a lovely hotel, comfy beds, gorgeous food, super friendly staff! Just a pity that some of the amenities were still closed such as sauna, jacuzzi & spa but would def come back :) only a short walk to the fab Clew Bay too!
the location of the hotel was perfect, the hotel wasn't bad, the staff were very helpful when cornered, room was good but the bathroom was perfect. lovely walkin shower and towels were plentiful.
Great location, can easily walk to the quay or the town. The staff in the hotel and leisure centre were so helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful time 😊
