Friendly and helpful owner. Though we were staying for one night we arrived with a large case as we were travelling onward and were offered to move to a ground floor room to avoid hauling luggage upstairs which was very much appreciated! Our room was spotless, large comfy bed and bathroom with great heat/water pressure. Breakfast was delicious!

It's a beautiful place with very comfy with luxurious linens and quiet rooms. Breakfast was delicious, including yogurt with fruit. The place is in walking distance of everything in Castlebar, including the Linenhall and Royal Hotel theatres. Really easy access next to the road but very quiet and lovely countryside atmosphere too. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was great. Our host Mary was welcoming and helpful throughout. This is a beautifully built and furnished Georgian style country house which sits in between Castlebar and Westport Quay and so there is plenty to do in the local area. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious with lots of choices. Superb value for money and I highly recommend if you are travelling to this area.

The studio was amazing, very spacious and very quiet in the middle of the countryside. Would definitely stay again.
