The street where it is located is a vibrant hub for café bars and restaurants. I went for a 4 night stay with my husband. We ate in the restaurant, both the food and the staff were amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was on the front of the hotel and we were expecting a noisy night, but it was so peaceful and quiet. PEACEFUL – the hotel's by a busy road ten minutes on foot from the centre of Cork but our 4th floor room at the rear was quiet as the countryside. Location can't really be bettered in Cork. (There are a few more central hotels, some cheaper, but they don't really compare.) Food top notch. Our room was spotless. Decor unfussy, airy and easy on the eye. Instantly hot shower.
