Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. Hard to know where to start - extremely well thought through accommodation from the hosts Wolfgang and Maria. The countryside location meant it was super peaceful and there were a number of area to chill with the great honesty bar facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on the tour. Still don’t think I am capturing the uniqueness of this place - it is way above anything else we stayed in that sea to get similar scores on sites like booking.com. if we were doing this trip again we would make this a base for a few days.

My girlfriend loved interacting with the horses.

Free private parking is available on site and tea/coffee will be served with fresh scones upon arrival. The location was great as it was near the Cliffs More. Great facility with ample parking. I cracked my glasses and they super glued my frame so i could still use them. Breakfast was good with a good selection of choices

Built in the Georgian period in 1736, Aran View Country House stands on a hill on the coast road and commands one of the finest views of the wild Clare coastline. Doolin village is just 10 minutes' walk away. A beautiful place to stay. It felt quite grand, but so comfortable and welcoming at the same time. Such a comfortable bed and so lovely to have a very spacious room. It was incredibly helpful to get some washing done here as well. Nothing was a problem. An excellent place to stay.

At the country house, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Helen was a joy to talk to. Very accommodating and my daughter loved her dogs
