Newtown Farm Country House is in the heart of West Waterford. The peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside offers ample opportunity for rest and relaxation. The area offers several walking routes encompassing the nearby Ardmore town. Wonderful welcome by Teresa. Breakfast was really good……great facilities to take a longer stay on our next visit. Quiet, clean, well thought out. Luxurious glamping. Lovely atmosphere for families. Paudie very welcoming.
This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at - a huge, clean, beautifully furnitured room and bath, with huge windows towards the countryside, with an exceptional breakfast and a very cosy host. If you are somewhere between Cork and Dublin and like nature and quietness, this is where you should stay!
the location is excellent for travel and stay whilst visiting Waterford. Being a little outside of the city meant that it was quiet, relaxing and most of all a beautiful place for a night stay. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience that Rhu Glen provided. We availed ourselves the opportunity for a stroll along the country road and soak up the peaceful surrounds. A fantastic location for visiting the sites of Waterford.
On arrival, we were met by Tracy & and Padraig, the owners who couldn't do enough. We were shown around the communal area & then to our Pod, which was fabulous. The one thing that hit us was the quietness of the countryside. We sat down on the couch with the door open & instantly relaxed. It was like a picture card looking out. We used the communal kitchen to make our evening meal & sat in front of the fire pit till late. It's just fabulous & we can't wait to book again.
Staff were lovely. The cooked breakfast was amazing. Loads of lovely food and nice touches like warm scones brought to the table. The location is quiet and peaceful with a nice garden. Very relaxed atmosphere. Nice country house experience.
