There was no parking problem.
It was easy to access Galway city and Salthill.
The way to the west, including Connemara and Clifden was very picturesque in places.
Following the "Wild West Trail" was very worthwhile. Took about two hours slow travel time from Barna.

Very pretty small village near Atlantic coast. Most places have seaview or mountains. Donnellys was great with lovely food and live Irish music. A few pubs and other restaurants also nearby. Seafood restaurant near seafront. Supermarket and cafes nearby to b&bs.

Barna itself is a lovely little village, about 20 minutes from Galway City.
The highlight has to be our stay in Twelve Hotel, a must for any visitors to Barna.
The food and service in the West Restaurant in the Twelve hotel was incredible.
The townhouse is a very convenient walk to amenities in Bearna (which were significantly more than I expected). The space is modern and all the kitchen basics are available. It is professionally cleaned with each change of guests. We mostly had the house to ourselves, which felt luxurious. When other folks dropped in, we barely saw one another (pro/con)

The view was AMAZING. We got the family room with three beds and it fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of storage space and the bathroom was great. There is a public kitchen are for the wonderful breakfast that was served. This place should be sold out ever night, so lucky we got to stay here!!
Super location, v quiet but only ~10 mins walk to Barna which has a great supermarket and lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs. House was v clean and comfortable. Kids loved the little onsite playground. Hosts couldnt have been friendlier and offered lots of tips and local knowledge. Will def be back!
We had a really fun night in Barna but I think it was the company more than the hotel that made it. The room was nice and spacious. I loved the Voya range in the bathroom.A little shortbread from the bakery was a nice touch in the room.
Also the two girls on the reception desk were very welcoming.
Dan and Sarah are such lovely hosts. They were so informative with great ideas on where to dine in the city and in the local area of Barna. We loved the modern farmhouse feel to the property. The area inside was bright, spacious and very nicely decorated.
Everything!! Amazing food, friendly staff, fluffy towels and robes, luxury spa experience. Myself and my partner were celebrating our engagement and we received a lovely card and baked treats from the hotel which was a lovely touch.
The location and the food here were probably the best part of staying. Outside of that, I cannot think of a whole lot that distinguishes this place from any other multi-star hotel and I don't think the experience demands the price.
The food at the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast selection was very good. The ambiance of the hotel and restaurant were very nice. Loved the boutique vibe.
