Very friendly staff, and a nice bar near reception. It was very near the port (its a small island but still it's close) and the rooms had plenty of space.

Love staying in the Dolphin Hotel. We got one of the downstairs rooms this time and they are very spacious. Breakfast was big and hearty. Pat was very helpful as usual with information and lifts to and from the ferry. We will be back again.

The Three Arches is in a beautiful location. Walking out in the morning to the magnificent view and even a rainbow. Our room has a private bathroom and everything we needed for a comfy stay. Mary was lovely and welcoming and the Irish breakfast was delicious. Beautiful little gem of a place and perfect location to stay from Clifden to Ballina. Would definitely recommend.

The grocery store is open at certain hours at the weekend. Best to bring your own stuff.
Tip: good to ask if you can get a lift from the pier to accommodation and back as it's quite a hilly landscape if you have things with you.
