Lovely accommodations in close proximity (about 30 mins) from the cliffs. Our host met us right when we arrived to show us the Pod. We self-catered during our stay, so didn't get to experience any restaurants or pubs in Miltown Malbay. The SuperValu conveniently close to our apartment had great quality and variety of locally-sourced food and could be used for parking when visiting the city center. The location is convenient to both the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren.

We ate in The Bake House.

We ate in The Bake House. Friendly Professional Staff and good food. Fresh Fish Specials. Temporary outdoor area did the job. Met a Local truck driver when leaving the next morning for" Banner Steel" who was rude obnoxious and used foul language and jumped to an incorrect conclusion that I was from Dublin as I was in a rental car. I even called the company to see if they could get him to back up 10 meters so about six cars could get past. The Company was no help saying and I quote. Sort it out among yourself. The Driver refused saying I'm not f'ing moving I'm in no hurry, so six cars had to back up 50 meters over a hill to get traffic moving. I even called the local Police Station and they were unavailable at 10 am in the morning. Will not be rushing back anytime soon to Milltown Malbay. Willie Clancy would be turning over in his grave, and I actually met the man

    Better music than Doolin!

Better music than Doolin! Music every night in different pubs and great food to be had! The gorgeous Cliffs of Clare go on and on and surpass the Cliffs of Moher! Milltown Malbay is central for touring all of Co. Clare.

I chose this booking based on pets being allowed. It was lovely. There's a tidy kitchen, good living area downstairs, beds are comfortable and the heat was turned on with the rainy weather. Easy access to the beach for a short walk, about a 10 minute drive from Miltown Malbay village for coffee/pubs/groceries and a 40 minute drive to the Cliffs of Moher. The hosts are welcoming, kind, helpful and available, even met me in town when I got turned around. They also had great input when to visit the Cliffs.

This is a great spot right in the middle of town - walkable to everything. The hotel was just as advertised and our room was very spacious. Our host was wonderful and met us at the property to let us in, etc. Nice outdoor area in the rear to enjoy the evening. Our host gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner which was just a few doors down and then we walked to his pub which had live music and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice coffee shop directly across the street for a morning pick me up.

Our stay at the Townhouse was perfect for attending a wedding in the area. John and staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating during check in and our entire stay. Room was small but it was perfect for what we needed. Central location and nice food and coffee options near by. Lots of on street parking available. Short drive to the lovely Spanish Point beach. Would highly recommend!

Gill and Alan were the best hosts. They were very personable and welcoming to us in their home. Gill makes the best coffee cake we have ever had and Alan's sourdough bread is out of this world. Their accommodations were clean and more than we had hoped for. They are the nicest people and very gracious hosts.

The location is excellent. It’s just a walk away from a little pitch and putt course which the kids loved walking down to. It’s very near the Armada hotel and a walk into Milltown Malbay where the festival was on. The house is clean and very spacious. Ideal for two families.
