Great classic place with comfortable rooms and a friendly owner family. Although the rooms were great it was the restaurant which made them really stand out. Breakfast options are worth every penny, go for the fresh fish (trout or salmon) if you like. Dinner is not available every day (check beforehand), but was also excellent.

It even has a long clothes line to hang bathers and towels to dry. Great communication with staff, comfortable bed and rooms. We were lucky as there were only a couple other people staying, so it was very quiet.

We had a private room with ensuite which was excellent. The view from the hostel is spectacular. Our room was above the kitchen / dining area which was busy until about 11pm. So my kids were not sleeping till after that. Then enthusiastic hikers up at 6.30 for breakfast ( an hour before suggested quiet time finished) wasn't great. The laundry service is really worth the 8 euro. I'd definitely go back.
