Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Beautiful location in the farmland of Co. Tipperary. Lovely owners of a farm. Catered to our every need. Very relaxing and friendly people. Quiet countryside for a real retreat and refresh. Enjoyed our hosts and their stories. Great for a relaxing getaway. Mountain view.
Arrived later than expected due to vehicle issues. Host was absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Arranged dinner even though the kitchen was about to close. Bed super comfy, nice and quiet and a beautiful location. Also lovely to meet Lucy the doggo from next door!
Ann and her son were great hosts. Kind and welcoming with great suggestions of local places to go. The B&B was perfectly located with only being 1hr from cities like Cork, Kilkenny, and Waterford. The local town of Cahir is stunning too.
Great breakfasts and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.
Quiet location with beautiful country views in a rural setting. Comfortable and relaxing facilities and helpful host for first time visitors to Ireland. Close to tipperary historic sites.
Quiet and very relaxing working farm location with a delightful host Eleanor who could not have done more to be welcoming and share info about the area and their farm. I loved the upstairs scenic nook to sit and reflect in the evening. Room was well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and set me up for my day! Easy to find, set back from road with plenty of parking on gravel forecourt. Very quiet setting, perfect for me.
Quiet, just few km from cahir, lovely room, great host and fabulous freshly cooked breakfast
