Geraldine was a friendly and helpful host .The breakfast was freshly cooked and very delicious with lots of different options on the menu. Bedrooms very spotlessly clean with lots of hot water, the rooms are very quiet so we had a great nights sleep. An Portán guest house is in a great location with beautiful scenery all around and walking distance to the Blasket visitor center and Dunquin pier and directly across the road from a bar which serves food.

Cosy, quiet, clean place to stay. Lovely breakfast. When I rang to let the guest house owner know we were running late, she was so kind and understanding and even upped the heat in the big rooms because weather had suddenly turned cold. There is a very handy pub within walking distance that has delicious pizza. 😋

We stayed at An Portán Guesthouse last year and returned this year. The staff is super friendly and can’t do enough for you. The restaurant offers a great breakfast and hearty dinner. The rooms are quiet, spacious and clean. The guesthouse is a brilliant base for lovely walks. The blasket boats are only a stones throw away.

My first time in on the Dingle Peninsular and couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay. Dunquin pier was only a 5 minute walk away and there is also a pub 100 yards from the guest house. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was comfy and slept very well. I will be returning to Dunquin in the future and will definitely be staying here again.
