Everything was really cozy, of excellent quality (those fluffy towels!), and very clean. The house is well-organized and everything is in its place. It is evident that a lot of thought has been put into making this into as welcoming and easy-to-stay-in place as possible. After traveling a fair bit I've never stayed in a nicer home than this one. Gillian was a welcoming and friendly host who went out of her way to make us feel at home!

This is a cross between a traditional B&B and a boutique hotel. This rambling set of buildings is located in a really quiet and picturesque area with some lovely beaches a short drive away. We were recommended to visit Red Island, Skerries and Mulahide Harbour, both were excellent. Our room was really comfortable and a hearty breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. Our host, John, could not have been more welcoming.

Friendly hosts. Comfortable and clean room with a great bed. Good breakfast. Good place to stay for 1 or 2 nights of you need to be in the Dublin area. Compared to the other expense hotels and guesthouses in the Dublin area the Hillview House provides more value for the money.

Liked the accomodation, very clean and comfortable, good sized room. seemed pricey but had nothing to compare it to. Recommendation for dinner man o war pub, about 2 miles away from the guesthouse was excellent could not fault it. Food was excellent with good choices. I would definitely go back. Half an hour from the ferry port was perfect.

Hotel is extremely well located near the main roads into Dublin, the West and North. Very near to the Port and Airport. It is in a quiet off road location. My room was very big as was the bathroom. Very clean and well supplied with towels and toiletries. I did not use the spa or breakfast area.

Hillview is in a wonderful rural location, quiet and beautiful, but only 40 mins by car from the centre of Dublin. There's no public transport so you need a car, although taxis can be obtained. The rooms are spacious and immaculate, very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is first class and there's plenty of it. Great place for kids as there's a garden and it is safe. For adults there's a bar. Highly recommend if you have your own transport.
