Warm host - Mary is a gem. Lovely homemade breakfast with nice touches such as foraged blackberry jam. Amazing views of the bay from the property. Powerful shower / nice clawfooted tub. Charming/characterful setting.

Kamala, or host, was a delight to chat to. It was lovely have a warm and welcoming presence upon our arrival. The house has great character, and was plenty warm. We were upgraded to an ensuite room as the BNB was quiet that night which was greatly appreciated. All in all, we had a lovely stay, and will be recommending it to others.

Quirky guesthouse situated overlooking Middleton, narrow roads in need of some tarmac in places, easy to find on google maps and Kamla had messaged a postcode to use. Old historic looking house, a bit tired but very quirky. Massive room and a heated blanket on the bed. Good wifi 84mbps! Kamla is lovely and friendly and a great host. For a one night trip where I had brought my dinner and wine to save going back out, it was fine. Value for money and loads of character.

Rustic rural retreat with wilderness garden slightly off the beaten track. A lovely area for a stroll down quiet lanes with beautiful views across the countryside. Also only 30 mins to Cork city centre. Big old house with many stairs, nooks and crannies. Top-notch host who provided little extras as needed. Optional full Irish breakfast was great.

Great location and within 15 mins of anything we wanted to see in Cork. The property was warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. The farm house setting makes the surroundings quite and very easy to relax. Susan, her family and the 2 dogs made great hosts and catered for our every need. I would highly recommend next door at Broomfield house as the place to stay on any visit to Cork.
