The family owned bed and breakfast is 3 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 13 km from Connemara National Park. The harbour is a 5-minute walk away. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable beds, old style interesting decor but best of all are Des and Eileen, the hosts. Our next accommodation was a little disappointing in comparison. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ben View.

Dating back to the 18th century, the property is just 5 minutes’ drive from a Blue Flag Kilmurvey Beach and 4 miles from Kilronan Ferry Port. The location is 5 km from the ferry drop off. Our hosts communicated well and went out of their way to help us feel at home. The house is in close walking distance from Dun Aengus. Excellent breakfast.
