Brilliant location for us and while the weather was on our side I dont think it matters as the cottage is amazing in a brilliant location just outside Ardara with some amazing views. John and his family were super welcoming on our arrival and even had scones and treats waiting ! We also got the low down on the best areas in the vicinity before they departed. We went to beaches during the day like Portnoo only a couple mins away in a car or locally there is Maghera. We also did some sightseeing in our car and there is plenty to see ! The town itself is what you expect from a country town with some nice places to eat and drink. All in all it was one of my favourite stays in Ireland !
