Cost cottage was a home away from Home. A spacious three bedroom two bathroom With plenty of room and comfort to enjoy the scenery and place. I loved the amenities available. They had dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker, and washer. They also had a chess board and cards that my kids played with all weekend. We came in the off season where many things are closed. The owners were amazing with answering questions and directing for things to do that our kids would enjoy. They were also quickly responsive to any questions or concerns. My kids have made it clear that they want to buy this home and forever live there

Lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful location - fantastic views of the sea and mountains. Cottage very clean and well appointed - everything we could have needed was there. Kate was friendly and welcoming, available if needed. No problems with communication about getting into the property, even though we arrived a bit late in the day.

Beautiful, quaint cottage with tasteful, 'old Irish' decor in a lovely location full of wild nature & scenic views. The host had made an effort to put up beautiful Christmans decorations for us - a lovely gesture. Ample parking. Very comfortable & clean beds with more than enough extra blankets. Promised mod cons were there & working. Having no TV was amazing! The peace & quiet at night was extraordinary & we slept extremely well.

Ger and Derarca have created something really special here, allowing people to experience a step back in time on the edge of Ireland. Staying in a 200-year old cottage is, of course, not going to be the same as a modern holiday home...the house has its quirks and that's part of the charm! Bring plenty of fuel for the stove, get cosy and enjoy this very special place.

The location was excellent -- beautiful view, sweet small yard and privacy around the house. Parking important, pull up right next to the house. Separate laundry room / utility area was wonderful (many houses have washer appliance located in the kitchen, which is a huge headache -- especially for families with children! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage!!
